Stayed as part of our tour accommodation.
The rooms are comfortable, but dated. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are comfortable, but too small (only one per twin bed). The TV is an old CRT monitor (average picture quality and no stations broadcast in 4:3 anymore) - also there is only two English channels and they are both news channels. The inroom safe is terrible to try and use and there's no instructions. The bathroom is dated with very basic ammenities. The room does have free Wifi (password is your passport number, NOT the number on the piece of paper they give you). Nice sea view. The walls are quite thin and the windows are not soundproofed at all so you get all the noise from the road if you have a seaview room. Additionally there's some machinery on the floors above us that makes a WHIRRRR noise intermittently through the day and night - maybe a hot water thing? VERY ANNOYING.
The hotel caters to the large bus tour groups. The restaurant has tables seating between 6-12 to seat such groups. Restaurant breakfast buffet is pretty average. We had breakfast at around 9am each morning and the fried eggs were like rubber and had obviously been sitting out for a long time. Other dishes had been cleared off the buffet (breakky runs until 10am). If you have breakfast running until 10am, I would expect that all the dishes would be topped up and hot until 10am.
Dinner buffet the "hot" foods were luke-warm and pretty bland. The desserts were pretty good though. It was also a little annoying each dinner having the lady from the spa try to sell us Turkish baths and massages. Every night.
Service at the dinner is average. The staff are quick to get your first drink order but are impossible to catch afterwards. They clear plates pretty efficiently though.
If you are not staying as a tour group, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
