“WOW, an authentic Turkish experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

We sought out this restaurant after reading about it on a forum of where to eat in Kusadasi and, as expected, it was difficult to find, but well worth the effort. We also had the picture on the wall which consisted of beef, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers and herbs all put into a clay pot, sealed, and cooked in the oven. They bring the pot to your table and then crack it open to reveal this amazing stew which just melted in the mouth. Prior to that they brought us this amazing pitta bread which nearly took up the whole of the table, hot and puffy straight from the oven, delicious. A lovely meal and wine was enjoyed by all and a memorable end to our week in Kusadasi. They should be No.1 on Trip Advisor for sure.

“The best on our trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

Our cruise ship stopped in Kusadasi on September 10. My wife and our two friends had an awesome tour of Ephesus from Dennis, a local guide ( I reserved Dennis from localguides.com) he was fantastic.
After the tour we asked Dennis to give us a recommendation for dinner and he walked us to the Erzican. Dennis said that it was genuine local food and also where he takes his wife for dinner. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! (Just order the picture on the wall...what a specialty.
The restaurant is at the back of the marketplace but still close to the cruise ship. The minaret from the mosque is right above and we were serenaded with the afternoon call to prayer. ...a perfect day.

“Hidden gem.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

Arrived on a mediocre Princess cruise and were really cheered by the genuine hospitality, great food (try the special dishes) and good wine. Wish we'd been there longer.

Food was good, reasonable portion, love that they gave us fresh Turkish bread. The testi kebab was great, should try when here. Everyone loved the rice here! People are friendly! Overall a great experience!

“Wonderful Experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

We stopped in Kusadasi on our cruise through the Med this summer. We enjoyed shopping in Kusadasi and even did the Turkish Bath experience. We asked for a recommendation from one of the shop owners and he had a 12 year old walk us to Erzincan!
We weren't sure what to expect, but what we got was: Fantastic and very friendly service, a clean and relaxing environment and a truly wonderful and fun meal.
We took the server's recommendation and had the testi kebob. This was such a delicious dish! It was fun to crack open the Testi and have our plates served.
They are very proud of their TripAdvisor rating and they should be - this is a great little spot and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a traditional Turkish meal!
