“Excellence reconfirmed.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

We found this restaurant in Kusadasi during our last visit in October 2011 and could not resist eating there again during our visit there last month. I am happy to reconfirm that Oz Urfa is just as good as ever. The staff are most friendly, the food still excellent and reasonably priced and the local wine and beer very moreish! Highly recommended for it's genuine local Turkish cuisine and friendly attitude towards the tourist.

“Hungry in Kusadasi? Go to Oz Urfa!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

Great location, easy to find. Vegan? Meat lover? Stewy? Grilly? They have it all on the display, nice and freshly made. They don't have it? Ask them about what you need: they'll get you something to fill up your appetite and please your taste!

“Fine choice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

Got there by chance while looking around at various shops of the Kusadasi bazaar. We tried a turkish pizza and a lahmatzoun and we were more than satisfied.
Staff was very kind and friendly. They provided various small treats "on the house" during our meal.
Prices were ok compared to other restaurants at Kusadasi.

“Great Atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

While visiting Kusadasi on our recent cruise, we stopped at a little sidewalk café to enjoy a snack and glass of wine. The waiter was so helpful. We weren't certain what to order. He took us inside to see the display of meat kabobs, etc. He suggested we try a chicken and a beef kabob and brought us some of the Turkish flatbread. It was excellent! We had some wine and did some "people watching". After we were finished with our food, they brought us complimentary Turkish coffee and an apple tea. It was a great experience.

“Repeat customer and never disappointed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

First time we found this wonderful little place was in 2010. We had just returned from Ephesus and needed lunch before carpet shopping. The carpet merchant sent us to his nephew. We walked in and said, "Your uncle sent us." We were seated and told let us serve you. The selections were of their choosing and we felt we had an authentic meal. We were brought fresh pita right out of their beautiful ceramic & stone ovens. The best humus, eggplant and other spreads we have ever tasted. This was followed by a huge sharing plate of skewers, grape leaves, and other amazing food. They were not very busy on our first visit, just a little local place with amazing food and wonderful service.
We returned to Kusadasi in September and knew this was on our list for lunch. The food was as amazing as before. The service, well when we said we had been here before, we were made to feel like long lost family. The restaurant was much busier than our last visit. It was earlier in the afternoon and we all seem to be from the numerous cruise ships in town that day. But the warmth and smiles from the staff were as bountiful as ever. The service was fantastic. We will continue to visit when in the area.
