“Authentic kebap place with amazing food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013 via mobile

This restaurant was recommended by the local staff at our hotel - and it certainly didn't disappoint. Upon discovering that it was our first turkish meal. the restaurant staff designed a menu for us: a selection of appetizers, several kebaps, pita bread and a dessert. We devoured the fresh stone-oven baked pita with the appetizers. The chicken kebap was the best we've ever had - so juice and flavorful. Dessert was a nice surprise - gooey melted cheese baked with butter and thin flaky strands topped with pistachio. This is not your typical waterfront restaurant that caters to cruise ship tourists - don't expect ambience but the food is much much better than what you would find at those restaurants. The bill was a bit more expensive than we expected but it was all worth it.

“Best in Kusadasi?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Found this place by scouring review sites. Then asked a couple of locals who both recommended this place and could have saved us the browsing time. Real passion for he food here - among a town of tourist troughs - and great kebabs, plus a fabulously spicy chilli paste made to he matriarch's recipe. Service great and plenty of little touches to enhance the experience. Loved it.

“"Gave Character to our Kusadasi Visit"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

As we had already been to Ephesus, this time around when our cruise ship docked we decided to stay in Kusadasi. The decision proved to be a great one. Aside from the shopping for leather jackets and trinkets, our visit to Oz Urfa made the stay memorable. Between my wife and I we ordered and finishedvthree kebabs, lamb, chicken and beef. We also had a great yoghurt drink and we capped it off with excellent Turkish coffee.

Good food and friendly service, pride taken in this family run Turkish restaraunt, fresh baked bread and affordable good lunch for 20 lira. Hard to beat.
