“Value for money budget hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2011

My husband and I stayed at the Sezgin hotel between May/June 2011. We booked a double ensuite (two single beds pushed together) room with small kitchenette, T.V (not great signal), air con, quiet, and balcony facing onto backyard plus pool. Spacious room which had clean linen and towels provided daily if you leave your room key at reception in the am. Lovely fresh standard buffet breakfast provided. Complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day. Any other drinks such as beer or soft drink have a charge. Had one evening meal at hotel which was sea bass bbq with salad, wine and beer. Have to say it was tasty. All staff are friendly and helpful especially Deniz. The only flaw I wish to point out is that the ensuite shower and toilet could have being a bit cleaner.

Room Tip: This type of room was quiet

After a bit of rocky start to my visit the stay overall was very pleasant. The night I arrived there was a huge arrival of guest from a cruise ship. I was told to sit down and wasn't spoken to for at least an hour. That was a little irritating due to the fact it was late and I was tired but I understand these things happen at times so I won't let that get in the way.

Sezgins brother is the chef and is an amazing cook. Had the best meal from all of Turkey here!
Sezgin gave me a lift to the bus terminal the day I left, which I thought was very nice.

The hostel was full of families and people of all ages. If your a solo traveller and want to meet people of your age and party, I would recommend you stay at a youth hostel with more of a social atmosphere.

Rooms are very big so you don't feel like you are on top of one another.

Location is great but make sure you arrange a pick up with the hostel or get a cab because the hostel is located on top of a hill, with luggage and a heavy back pack the walk isn't very fun!

We recommend this hotel to everybody! I have travelled all over Europe Asia and have never been more satisfied with a hotel. Denis is so friendly and helpful. He is happy to help you organise great day trips and give honest advice. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean and even come with a fridge. Breakfast is lovely! We were supposed to stay 2 nights and stayed for 5 and it still wasn't enough! Thank you for your hospitality!

Room Tip: every thing was perfeckt

This place is a delight for the indpendent traveller in the middle of Kusadasi town.Nice big swimming Pool and the turkish style decorated back yard garden with hunderts of flowers and Threes.Super helpful staff and the rooms are pristine and very clean. The 3am airport pick-up was a huge weight off of our shoulders, and the hotel was indeed very central. The hotel has a warm and inviting atmoshpere and is a great place to put the feet up after a long day of sightseeing. Highly recommend.

Clean, good location and helpful staff... Good choice for money. We went in early April so it was still chilly... There heater wasn't working we were freezing at night. Next morning I complained about being cold deniz said ya it was an he was thinking the whole night "poor girls" ... I just think giving us an extra blanket would have been nice rather than thinking "poor girls". Good breakfast in the morning made by staff. We asked mr sezgin to help us with ferry tickets and he did however rather than getting the ten percent off ( a promotion for staying at their hotel) he charged us extra 11 euros, asked us to pay cash as we wanted to pay visa and scratched off the prices on the ferry ticket. When we got to Mykonos we found out that they were suppose to charge us 11 euros less each... I would suggest going to travel agents yourself ... A restaurant owner in town also complained about them being a bit money hungry... Otherwise the place was good choice.

We recently spent 4 nights at sezgins guethouse. On arrival the staff were friendly and explained how everything in the hotel worked well. The room was very nice, very clean and the had everything as described in the hotel description. I also really liked the kitchen facilities, which were very useful when travelling with family. The bed was also very comfy. I felt the hotel provided excellent value for money.

Room Tip: rooms and the room rates are amazing
