We visited this hotel the last 2 weeks in September. 4 adults and one child aged 2. The hotel is the best hotel we have stayed in. It's so clean and the staff are brilliant. From walking into the reception you can tell its a 5 star hotel. We stayed in the main block overlooking the quiet pool. The room was very modern and had everything you wanted/needed. The mini fridge is stocked daily free of charge. The food was excellent and plenty of choice and places to eat. The main restaurant for breakfast, dinner and tea. The beach bar for dinner and the main pool area. We went to the Mexican and seasons a la carte and both were excellent. You will never feel like the food is boring as some many places to try x hot dog Cart at the main pool daily at 3, the traditional flat bread hut everyday. The entertainment was the best we have ever seen at hotels you won't be disappointed X our little girl loved the kiddies disco every night. The bungalow rooms don't look brilliant on the photos but these don't do them justice x they look beautiful when there set in the gorgeous gardens. We didn't go inside but I am sure they are the same standard as the hotel. We will defiantly be going back to this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Just got back from an 11 night stay at this lovely, lovely hotel. DO NOT be put off by any negatives. The whole place is exceptionally good, from reception through to the beach. Very friendly and courteous staff are at all stations with a nice smile and nothing is too much trouble. Cleanliness is second to none and all the toilets are sweet smelling and scrupulously clean, as is everywhere else. We stayed in the main building ina fantatstic large room with a shower you could have held a dance in!. Cant say what the bungalows where like as we didnt get a chance to look into one but no doubt they will be just as good, as this hotel speaks for itself. As for the food, there is an endless choice in the buffet resteraunt (one night we counted over a 100 different deserts!!!) and the al a cartes are great, especially "Seasons." All in all an hotel which can be truly recommended, just go and see for yourselves.

We have just returned from 11 nights at this hotel, a 5 star all inclusive. What a wonderful hotel. it is situated in the outskirts of a great shopping district, which has so many good shops and great deals to be had. Although a busy area at night for shopping, it is friendly and loud music free, just the great atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and on arrival we were given full details of the facilities available and taken to our room. We had asked for a high floor and quiet and that is what we got. room 2401 looks out to the mountains, the sea and the shopping mall. The room was large and the balcony benefits from the afternoon sunshine, whereas those that look over the pools are in shade by the afternoon. The large pools have a lifeguard on duty at all times, and have a lovely pool bars. There are 2 good childrens pools with sunbeds around. One of the pools has aquarobics in the morning and is lively, whereas the other two are quiet. There are plenty of sunbeds to choose from either around the pools or on the glorious sandy beach. There are plenty of watersports available along the beach and a hotel beach bar serving drinks all day and lunch midday. We ate in the beach, pool and main restaurant and visited 2 of the a la carte. It was impossible to get into the Seasons restaraunt but the Turkish, which was free, and the Mexican, which was 10 euros pp were fantastic. the staff at the bars are so friendly and love to chat, trying out their english. The hotel was quite full but never crowded, although 98% of the guests are German, which can get a bit noisy at times. The evening entertainment was exceptional. The inhouse team together with the visiting acts were just great, and every night was something different. This was our 3rd visit to Turkey and each time has been great but this hotel was just divine. Every member of staff is keen to help and the gardens are beautiful. We watched the gardeners one morning going through dead heading and pruning and replanting to keep everything tiptop. This is one of the cleanest hotels we have ever visited, with staff constantly checking. The only disappointing thing was that although there was a dress code for the main restaraunt, that forbids shorts and flip flops, we saw a number of guests dressed for a visit to the beach not dinner, although in the pool and beach restauraunts they are very strict that swimwear must not be worn and men must wear tops. The wide range of superb food is amazing with themed evenings and champagne breakfasts. This hotel deserves all of it's 5 stars and indeed more, a great place to stay.

Room Tip: We had 2401, that was 4th floor looking to mountains, sea and shopping mall. Thithese rooms get sun...

Stayed at this hotel for a week in July with our 10 year old son and would definitely recommend it! We stayed in a bungalow room. Initially this was one overlooking the restaurant but I really wasn't happy with the location as we couldn't sit on the balcony without constant traffic in front of us. I informed reception that I wasn't happy the following morning and they said that they didn't have any available rooms until the following day but we could move then. I'm so glad we waited to unpack as we were moved to a 1st floor room overlooking the quiet pool which was a lovely view. We were very happy with the room. When booking I was unsure whether to book a main hotel room or bungalow room. On the last day as we didn't get picked up for airport till 7pm we got the key for a courtesy room in the main hotel to have a shower and in comparison this was a bit bigger with slightly more modern furnishings however the shower and toilet were only separated from the rest of the room with a frosted glass door and the sink area was in the room. Because of this last point i'm glad we booked the bungalow room as this had a separate room for a bathroom.
Food wise there is so much choice. We tried 2 of the a la carte restaurants - Turkish and international (seasons) and both were good - Turkish best for food and had a fabulous view but the service was a bit slow. Seasons had excellent service but set on the ground floor rather than rooftop like the Turkish so view not that great. For both I just phoned from the room at 9am and got a table no problem. The main restaurant tries to vary its range of food by having themed nights such as Mexican. It is like a large canteen if you sit inside but the foods of a decent standard. The only negative I have to say is that when we arrived at the hotel at 1am we were very hungry and asked about food and were directed to the main restaurant after being told the hotel had 24 hr food. The choice was terrible - it was some cold meats and salad and a couple of apples and some soup. That was very disappointing!! At lunchtime we ate mainly at the activity pool which was good quality pasta, salads and pizza and the beach bar which had rotisserie chicken too.
There is a selection of cakes at the pool bar in the afternoon but if you go to the patisserie near the quiet pool there is a great selection all day and different types of tea and coffee.
Pool wise we got a bed by the pool no problem without having to set our (or my!) alarm. We just put our towels down when we went for breakfast at 9 and always got a bed by the activity pool. If we were going to breakfast relatively early we saw all the cleaners cleaning each sunbed by hand, this is testament to how spotlessly clean this hotel is.
Entertainment is good and varied. Our son was occupied constantly with various activities and the games room with its pool and table tennis tables and the play stations. Adult wise there are some good shows and some ok ones. You can get a wide selection of drinks and cocktails day and night. They even have a cocktail trolley that goes around the pool every hour offering fruit punch with either rum or vodka.
We've been to Turkey for the last 6 years and this has been the best all inclusive hotel we've been to due to the fact that you can enjoy the all inclusive but then you can walk out and there are many shops in the surrounding area. Usually all inclusive = isolated. Beware though as we assumed that the hotel shop would be expensive and went elsewhere for our lilos etc only to find that the hotel shop was cheaper!
Great hotel for families :)

Room Tip: Ask for a first floor bungalow room overlooking the pool

It was our first time in turkey so our first stay at the oceana paloma and definitely not our last, food was fantastic, never boring, we didn't even feel the need to eat at any if the a la carte restaurants as their was plenty of choice and the food changed daily, though they always had chips, fresh bread, pasta, bolognese, salads, which was perfect for my children. Lunchtimes you can eat at the beach bar, the main pool bar or the main buffet, with fresh made pizza at the pool, and rotisserie cooked chicken at the beach bar! We were spoilt for choice. The evening entertainment was really worth a watch, and the animation team were brilliant during the day with the children and adults, especially lira, who spent literally all day with my children and they loved her! Rooms were lovely/spacious and air con great, met quite a few English people so made some good new friends. You do have to be up early to reserve sun loungers, as early as 6 am they are nearly taken, this was the only problem, but we always managed to get a sun lounger somewhere if we hadn't got our towels out early!! also euros are used just as much as lira, so you can take either. Their are lots of shops right outside the hotel, selling all ur fake goods, bags/vans/converse etc very cheap. We are definitely going back again nx year, and cannot wait!.
