“BETTER THAN EVER”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2012

This bar and restaurant were very enjoyable when Osman and his family ran it - but since it was taken over by new people late last year it has gone from strength to strength. It has been expanded and improved in almost every way. Their is a complete new open-to-view kitchen, new toilets ( not open-to-view !! ) and a larger garden area with retractable roof
The new chef has proved to be very able and the open buffet on a Thursday evening is well worth a visit. At only 22 lira the food is superb and the choice is remarkable. Two soups, at least ten starters, two main courses and fruit to follow. Washed down with the cheapest beer in the area you cannot ask for more - but you can get more!!!
Sunday evening is an enjoyable fun quiz - wednesday evening is a somewhat more serious quiz ( but still fun ) - the second sunday of the month is a table top sale. Great social occasion and the range of stuff which changes hands is amazing.
Children have a small play area and, as usual in Turkey, the staff are happy to keep an eye on the kids while Mum and Dad eat. AND - as if that isn't enough, you can get a lift home if you need it !! The staff are all friendly and helpful and will do their utmost to ensure you enjoy your visit - which will probably be the first of many. WELL DONE KOSEM

“Try the Turkish night”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012

Both residents and holiday makers know that the food at the Kosem is good. They have just started a Turkish food night on a Thursday. Five of us went last Thursday and it's excellent. It's served as a buffet and starts at 8.00 pm, the buffet consists of two different soups, about 12 different mezzes, both hot and cold, and a choice of 4 mains plus fruit for dessert. You can eat as much as you want, all this for 22 tl a person, brilliant value. They also played some Turkish music so it was up and dancing with the staff. I know where we will be eating most Thursday's for the rest of the season.

“Do not miss!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2012

The restaurant has had an overhaul with a new garden area, new toilets & a new kitchen.

The new menu has one of the biggest selection of dishes in the area. There is an Indian section which some of our group tried last night. The curries were excellent & brought to the table in fancy metal dishes with lids.

My favourite is the Chicken Bombay, it was wonderful. Free mezes & large portions guaranteed. The drinks are the cheapest in the area (4tl for bottle of Efes, 7tl for vodka & coke).

Same friendly staff that give excellent service & always make you feel welcome. It rained last night so they insisted on driving us home even though we didn't have far to go.

I can't recommend the place highly enough, give it a try, you definately won't be disappointed!!
