My wife and I stayed in early September for a week, in addition her parents and sister stayed in other rooms as well. Vacation and family visit in one. Overall Hotel was very good. Its all about what you are looking for and prioritize in your trip/hotel, but if you are looking for a good combo of nice hotel, good all-inclusive food, great location, and decent value you cant go wrong with Fame Residence Kemer. Not always a fan of all-inclusive as we like to get out and explore, but this was a great option in the area, especially when comparing to other hotels nearby and since a lot are packaged that way. Also, don't confuse with Fame Residence Park, a sister property a few doors down, seem nice enough, but not as nice as Fame Residence Kemer from what we could tell.
Location - Excellent, its basically in the heart of Kemer and you can walk to all shops, bars, park, etc. If you like to explore outside your hotel this is perfect. Some other all inclusive outside Kemer downtown may have better beaches in terms of sand, but you would likely need to take a taxi or drive into town. So if you like venturing around, this is a great location. Just not from Antalya airport is about hour drive b/c you go through Antalya and a big Southeast of it.
Beach - Property is right on the beach, its not a huge beach but big enough, but note its a stone beach. Its 'private" for the hotel but its right against all the other hotel beach areas too. There are walkways and a ramp and some piers to go further out, but stones are not to bad and not an issue once you start to swim. If you want a sandy beach you probably need to stay on the outskirts of town or might want to consider staying closer to Antalya (Lara Beach). Water is beautiful, as expected. Other good part is at the beach they have an all-inclusive grill so if you dont feel like going up to the dining room for lunch you can have plenty of options right there for food, drinks, and dessert. Usually enough chairs, at least in Sept, but under the canopy could get crowded in the morning, so you may need to go down early or wait until lunch if you really want a canopy chair. However, the staff would usually try to help.
Pool - Didn't use much but looked nice and big. You're on the Sea so not sure why you would but if that's you thing its nice.
Food - Very good for all-inclusive, some places food can be boring and bland, but we found the food to be very good with lots of variety. They would mix up the options across the week and even down on the beach they had a different special each day and afternoon snacks. If you're a foodie might not be as much for you, but overall food was very good, and worse case take a night or two to try some options outside Hotel.
Room - When we first arrived there was a mix up and we were given a double bed room, but the staff (Diana espeically) was very helpful in helping us move to a queen bed room the next day. The first room was basic but nice and clean, and every room has a balcony. The first room you could see the sea from the side, a little, but mostly you could see hotel next door, not bad but suggest you asked for an interior facing room so you can see pool, courtyard, and better view of sea, but you probably shouldn't be in your room much anyway, so not that big of deal. Of course 2nd room we moved to was great. We had room on 4th floor and could see the Sea and parts of the marina. Again rooms we were in were not full blown luxury but they were very nice and clean and all you could need and ask for. Cleaning staff was great and brought you water every day.
Amenities - They had a ton of them, like Spa, Gym, Indoor Pool, Nightly entertainment (usually decent and nice option if you stay in hotel that night), etc, but we didn't take advantage of them all and some were additional, but prices seemed reasonable.
Activities - have travel agents in the hotel usually in the afternoon that can book trips. been in area a few times so suggest you take at least one boat cruise, take the sky ride to the top of the mountain there, see Aspendos, and some of the waterfalls in the area, all great, and plenty other things to see as well.
Staff - All were usually helpful and spoke English, German, or Russian. Again Diana was very helpful in the room change.
Comparing to other hotels in area, there may have been 1 or 2 in that downtown area that might be considered more "upscale" like L'Ancor (i think), but most others did not seem to measure up to the Fame Residence Kemer. All depends what you prioritize but we would recommend a stay here and definitely go back if in Kemer.
Go for interior facing rooms that look over pool and courtyard, as well as sea. And maybe floors 2...
