“Not for the British!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2010

The hotel is shabby, and looks like it was furnished from a jumble sale. The staff appeared disinterested except with the russians and turks, and looked thoroughly miserable. We had 2 pillows and 2 coat-hangers and a fridge which did not work. The food was tasteless and the same every meal time. The bar is a joke, drinks being unavailable most of the time, and watered down.

I was so shocked at the state of the hotel it was dirty and unwelcoming.
That was nothing tho.
I was on an all inclusive holiday just me and my 6year old son and when we got there there was nothing to drink. There was no alcohol for 3 days when I arrived. people had said it had been like that all week. When there was alcohol it was watered down vodka or Skoll and it was watered down in the bar in the restaurant that is never open with tap water. And you would be lucky if there were any wine. The food was rationed out you could ask for some more and they would say no.some of the food was from 2 or 3 days before and mixed with something else.
There was only one choice of a main course so if you didn't like it TOUGH!
NOTHING FOR KIDS TO EAT
There was no place for kids to run, play or do anything. I definitely would not go to this hotel if you have children.
The waiters were friendly they couldn't speak english but they were pleasant and did try hard to understand what you needed.
The management were awful! they didn't care if you made complaints they just laughed and called people liars. They even had a fight with one customer and threw them out of the hotel as he told them that the hotel was rubbish! He wasn't the only one the owner of the hotel threatened people and was unapproachable!!!!!! One of the managers asked to take a women's 17year old son outside for a fight. It was just awful.
Other than the food and drinks that you didn't get there was a rat running around near the food which is lay outside and there was rat poo on the bar.
No hygiene in the toilets!
Bed sheets changed once in 2 weeks which were stained. had to get my own towels.
cockerel's and mosques and dogs barking from 4 am every morning.
They took my key off me a day early and said i'd only paid till then and I had to pay for another day or have no food etc So I didnt have a room for 6hours no food and no soft drinks or anything which Id paid for!!!! (until they spoke to my agency and they told them to give the key back to me)
I could go on and on but basically don't waste your money as you will need much more to go out spending on food and drinks and things to try to find to do. Expensive area!
so nuch I could write but sure the other people in the hotel will tell you about how horrid it was anyway
Seriously Don't ever GO

The hotel is very old and is falling apart. The rooms were not cleaned properly and the towels and sheets were not changed at all during our seven days there. All inclusive was 10.00-22.00 the beer was cheap the wine also. Any spirits they had were not replaced. If you had a beer it was served in a small drinks glass. The food was reheated at nighttime if not eaten at lunch. Everyday it was meatballs at night it was very small portions of meat with rice or pasta. The soup was watered down and there was only fruit for pudding. At nighttime they turned off the lights so you could not sit and talk around the bar area. The staff tried there best but had limited language skills. We bought our own drinks in the end as did other guests. The Antalya region is euro and dollars and was very expensive.

What a disappointment!! we booked this low cost all inclusive holiday through the internet, we had little or no expectations due to the price, but what a terrible place.
The hotel was dirty, the pool was empty, they did fill it eventually but it had a leak and didn't refill it or clean it, the food was recycled, we had to beg for drinks, when we finally got them they were given to us in tiny glasses, the beer when it came was flat, the wine was sherry.....The bar and lounge area lights turned off at 9 pm. No snacks available. The owner said he didn't charge enough for all inclusive drinks and snacks!!!! We had to buy our own drinks from the supermarket across the road very expensive area, and spent a lot of money on snacks in the town.
There was no hot water during our stay and for 3 days no water at all during the day, on the 4 th day there was no electricity.
I had to clean the bathroom on arrival. The sheets were questionable as to there cleanliness. Our room was not cleaned while we were there.
Food was served spasmodically, not the times quoted in the reception area. Food started off luke warm in the hot buffet, then was served cold, then served covered in sauce!!! The soup was nice and there was fresh bread.
Lots of staff but no leadership or direction, I wasn't offered a drink once during my stay.
No hair-dryer in room even though had said there was one on the website.
We had booked for a 10 night stay, we attempted to sort out the problems but the management were very defensive, we gave them a chance but on the 4th day we asked to be rescued by the rep he found us a different hotel ( cost us and extra £140).
There was a beach a 10 minute walk from the hotel, it did have sun beds and cushions but the advertised bar was derelict.
The low cost holiday turned out to be very expensive with all the extras.
The one plus point was the Rep from Mina travel who organised our 'rescue' and picked us up and took us to the new hotel. He also picked us up for the transfer to the airport on our way home.
I believe they are still sending people to this hotel, but please be warned it is awful!!!

Just got back from turkey after a lovely holiday. Unfortunately it wasn't at the Kaftans because we checked out of there after one day. It's not so much that there was only a foot of water in the pool. Or that there appeared no fixed meal times, no choice, no advance notice of what you might be eating and poor food. And yes, the rooms were a bit grotty and you did have to ask for toilet rolls at reception. We probably could have lived with all that. For us the problem was they refused to give you more than two drinks a day, saying 'they couldn't afford it.' We could possibly have lived with that if the price of eveyrthing in Kemer wasn't completely mental. Much dearer than England.
The Rep 'Ozgar' was very good though. We paid an extra £150 and moved to the Sailor Beach resort. He sorted that within an hour and drove us there himself. The only English guests we encountered had also done a bunk from the Kaftans.
It's a shame because it could be a nice hotel and they were friendly enough but they haven't got a clue.
