First, let me start by saying, we have traveled to turkey every year since 1996. It is an amazing country with beautiful people. KAS is one of our favorites cities.... it's very small (but growing) with great site seeing trips.

We found hotel hadrian accidently a few years ago and have gone back every year since. We usually travel with a group and use KAS as a jumping off point for a blue voyage. The Hotel is run by a wonderful couple with a superb staff. The rooms are always clean and the food is great. The owner makes an amazing paper wrapped fish and the chef prepares grilled meats. You won't want to leave for dinner. It's a short taxi ride into the center of KAS but you probably want a rental car for site seeing.

The location is on the very tip of the peninsula with a beautiful private swim area. Nothing compares.

We stayed one night at the Hotel Hadrian

The hotel is absolutely lovely - what an idyllic location. The lovely whitewashed buildings with beautiful flowers, blue swimming pool, all looking out over the Meditteranean is exactly as shown on the website.

We thought this must be the best setting and view in Kas!. It only takes a few minutes to drive to Kas so the location (on the western peninsula) is not a problem

The room we had (the large apartment on the top floor) was very comfortable and had a lovely view and its own balcony. While not luxurious the rooms are very comfortable and offer everything you would need for a relaxing stay.

We did not try the restaurant as it seemed as the various people staying there knew each other and with a few glances etc from them we were made to feel as if we were intruding.

The only other small complaint is that all the menus and in room instructions are in German so as an English speaking family we were at a disadvantage in getting to know the hotel facilities. This was one reason why we dined in Kas - but also because the Mercan restaurant had caught our eye and for that we were well rewarded - It is a MUST!

All in all the Hadrian is a wonderful option!
