We visited Zaika twice during our holiday. I'm not really a kebab person, so was unsure what to expect the first time, but absolutely loved it. The restaurant is tucked away in a courtyard off a small cobbled alleyway. It is definitely not a location that you would stumble across, nevertheless both nights we went they were turning people away. Delicious meze with homemade flat bread and some excellent Tabouleh. There is a choice of 10 or so main courses all of which are displayed in a fridge and cooked over open coals. I would especially recommend the turkish sausage (tastes a bit like chorizo), the marinated chicken (very moist and tender) and the minced lamb, which was delicious, but we enjoyed everything. There was only one dessert on the menu: dried figs with walnuts, ice cream and a toffee sauce. Delicious! Service very friendly.
