“Great hotel, relaxing little city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2009

We stayed for three nights in early Sept. Like going home...rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Owner was very friendly and helpful. He lives there and is present all the time. Rooftop restaurant/lounge is beatutiful with a water and island view. Cant ask any more of a hotel.

Deniz and Xamida make the perfect hosts, and both they themselves and their staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful throughout our week long stay.
Although just moments from the centre of Kas and its public beaches, the hotel is set in a very pretty and quiet side street, with blossoms hanging from every balcony. We enjoyed a wonderful sea view both from our front-of-hotel balcony (you should request this at time of booking), and from the airy rooftop restaurant. Each afternoon, we returned to our room in time to sip a cool drink and watch the sun set over the hills surrounding the picturesque bay.
The restaurant food was simple, fresh, delicious and very plentiful. We had booked half board and did not regret it. The service was relaxed, attentive and yet entirely unpretentious.
Wireless broadband was available throughout the hotel at no cost to guests. There was a small but clean swimming pool, and a comfortable reception area, TV in the room (which we never switched on). What more could we have wanted? Possibly a bit more temperature control in the shower, but this was absolutely the only negative for us, and didn’t matter at all.
Did all this cost us a small fortune? Not a bit of it - it was cheap, very good value indeed and we will certainly return.

Once again, Deniz and staff gave us a warm welcome. We couldnt wait to get back after we found this superb place last year. Postcard Views await you. Have a chilled beer at the roof restuarant bar and watch the sun go down. All the rooms are clean Basic and comfortable with Air Con & TV. The pool is a lifesaver in the afternoon heat, Phewww! :0)
The staff are so nice, they even went out their way to organise our daytrip to Meis(Greek Island) at no commission. Kas is a small Harbour town that is relatively undiscovered by Brits and long may it stay so. Im looking forward to going back next May to explore some more.

Hotel Kayahan is already a Best Value, so what more can we add? We stayed for 4 nights--2 during 'high' season and 2 during 'low' season. At check out time, the hotel gave us the low season rate for all four nights--we didn't even ask for it.
We arrived in Kas late, after a 12 hour bus ride. The hotel manager, Deniz, had already called the bus station to let them know we were coming. We were put in a taxi and taken to the hotel for no charge. Deniz gave us a late night snack of melon, olives, and cakes, again at no charge.
Beautiful views, good excursions. What more do you want, people?

Really friendly staff, and the manager went out of his way to socialize and introduce us to the town. Very nice location off the main street noise but easy walks to waterfront, shopping and ruins in the area. Rooftop patio bar and breakfast is excellent. Only negative was the underpowered and leaky a/c unit.

In Kas we took a snorkeling trip (van up coast and boat to Sumarian ruins) and boat across to the Greek island just off the coast. Both trips were well worth taking.

I want to thank the general manager of the hotel Deniz bey and all receptionists who were very attentive and helpful. As soon as we arrived to the hotel, Deniz bey gave us a map of Kas and a brochure, telling about the region, the beaches, nearest towns etc. Then we bought from him a boat trip to Kekova and Simena island, it was with discount and we were very satisfied. The hotel has great location, it is 2 minutes to nearest beach, very comfortable one, to the central street, to restaurants etc.
The rooms are simple but it was not important for us. All we needed is clean bed, shower/wc, air condition. We had all of this plus TV and balcony with a great sea-view.We came to Kas to relax on beaches, to travel around and have boat trips, not staying at the hotel room.
Hotel's restaurant is situated on the roof. Dinners are not included to the rate but you can have it at normal price. Beverages are also cheap. At breakfast you can have a glass of fresh orange juice at 1.5 usd. Also you can find there cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, yoghurt, musli, cheese and coffee. It was enough for me&my BF.
Hotel has wireless internet and a computer on the roof, I checked my mails and surfed some sites for free, just friendly gesture ))
The hotel is great for such price and don't look for any great luxury rooms or golden toilet bowl there :)))
We'll surely come back, remembering about all nice people and just friends, who work there.
Kas is one of the most beautiful and romantic places in the world and worth visiting it. Please don't hesitate ))!!

Went here on strength of reviews and it far exceeded our expectations. Cannot praise staff enough, all were so friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Views from balcony terrific (but we did have a room at the top and sea view, not all are). The rooftop balcony is brilliant and so are breakfasts. Cannot fault this hotel in any way it is so good and such value. (OK shower temperature is a bit variable but so what and that really is only (very slight) problem we can think of.) Don't hesitate, it's good.
