We were in Kas for a week and dined twice at Ikbal. The first time up on the terrace near the kitchen was lovely, service prompt and food great. Two nights later down at the front tables on the street, service terrible, food forgotten. This was quite sad as we really enjoyed our first experience and were very much looking forward to going back. First night we received complimentary starter was a nice yummy touch. The stuffed squid was probably the best dish we had in our 4 week Turkish holiday, amazing, tender, bbq char, spinach, of so good I'm going to try and cook that this weekend. The soft roasted lamb was tasty but a little dry and needing more seasoning and herbs. Service was wonderful, attentive, funny and felt very special. Next time, service was non-existent, we had to ask for each of our meals after waiting too long, ask for water, ask for wine, we felt forgotten and lost down the front of the restaurant away from the kitchen. The poor service really took away from the dining experience. We seemed like a hassle for the young man and it wasn't until the owners came did he pick his game up. Given it can be pot luck if you receive good service or not I don't think I would recomend given the price tag.
