“Wonderful hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

My husband and I recently returned from a fabulous holiday in Kalkan. This was our second trip to the resort but our first stay at the Oasis Hotel. We were very impressed with what we had discovered- beautiful accommodation, relaxing surroundings and the staff, without exception, could not have been more attentive. The pool area was always quiet and very peaceful, ideal for just chilling out. Every morning breakfast was provided on the terrace with wonderful views overlooking Kalkan Bay. It consisted of an extensive cold buffet with a choice of several hot options including omelettes, made to order. Nothing was too much trouble, with friendly staff on hand at all times. During our stay we experienced one of the Hotel Spa packages - Turkish Bath, Clay Face Mask and Aromatherapy Massage. Almost 2 hours of pampering in beautifully decorated surroundings at very reasonable rates. Our only regret was that we did not have an evening meal at the hotel's roof-top restaurant. On the day of our departure we chatted with another guest who had eaten "the best meal of his whole holiday" in the restaurant. Praise indeed as Kalkan has a wealth of fabulous restaurants. We'll just have to make sure that we try the menu the next time we visit as we certainly intend to return to the Oasis in the not too distant future.

Just back from a week at the Oasis. What a great hotel! The accommodation is fantastic - clean, comfortable, beautiful rooms, especially in the new block where there is the most amazing roof terrace restaurant and bar. The staff could not have been more helpful, from the excellent receptionists to the waiting staff (especially Hande, Ibrahim and Isa), the spa manager (Sam) and of course the manager, Aslı, who was always at hand if needed, and whose calmness and courtesy influenced the whole atmosphere of this stylish hotel. The Oasis is under the same ownership as the Likya Residence with the same very high standards and we would highly recommend it. We look forward to the next visit!

I recently stayed at the Oasis Hotel, having stayed there once before in 2010. I was totally impressed by the fantastic rennovation - the new pool, along with a beautiful sun bathing and breakfast area among the olive trees, has transformed this hotel into an ultra chic spot.

Everything has been finished to a very high spec - the Oasis is definitely now one of the coolest and most luxurious hotels in town.

The hotel's new manager, Asli, is an absolute star - always friendly, welcoming and went out of her way to help us with any of our queries. Likewise, the other staff were very smiley and friendly, and really helped to make the place feel like home.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, the rooms are spacious and really nicely designed and decorated. The hotel's location is also perfect - a short walk away from the old town (about 5 minutes walk). The roof bar also has some stunning panorama views of Kalkan - a great place to have a early evening cocktail before heading into town!

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel - I'd love to come back! I also think the Oasis would be a perfect destination not only in the summer, but also for off-season trips... I look forward to coming back next year!

Accomodation is lovely, short walk into main town so very handy. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Dinner is excellent, the best so far in Kalkan!! Rooftop terrace dining area with amazing views over the bay. Definitely a hidden gem as restaurant was empty in the evening but food was amazing!!! Part of the same group as Likya hotel and doesn't disappoint. Would love to come back. :-)

This is only my third visit to Kalkan; it is an amazing place destination along the Turquoise cost of Turkey. The distance from Dalaman airport (1 hour and 30 minutes) means that it is less touristic for the packaged holiday crew. This is part of the reason my clients were attracted to buying a villa in Kalkan.
We decided to stay at the Oasis hotel while showing Kalkan villas for sale. We had tried to arrange our own transfer from Dalaman airport, which did not arrive on time. The tour operator, Tapestry, that normally does the bookings had a very friendly driver who past on their details. They sent a driver to pick us up within 20 minutes.
Oasis staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived. The entrance hall is large and spacious as luxurious wing backed chairs and comfy loungers are dispersed around the room. Even though there are only 16 rooms, they still have an elevator.
Our room was number 304, which has fantastic sea views from the third floor. The room is decorated with modern furnishings; the natural stone has not been covered over and is light in colour which is a rather nice contrast to the warm wooden doors. There are massive widows that role open. We enjoyed a refreshing Turkish tea from within the cool air-conditioned room whilst admiring dark blue sea from our comfortable built in settee.
Breakfast was delightful; there was such an array of fresh fruit including thirst quenching melons, oranges, watermelons, kiwi fruit and grapes. After waking my stomach up with a bit of healthiness, I set about counteracting it with a decadent variety of cold meats, cheeses, poached eggs and grilled tomatoes. Volkan and one other waiter breezed through the service a managing to be attentive and engaging to all the guests, who like myself, thought that 9:30am is as early as anyone on holiday should rise.
When I took my clients to view luxury three bedroom Kalkan villas on sale from Aykan building and construction, they informed me that their hotel only served one fruit – melon – and fruit juice was charged for. Our rooms were very clean and the mini fridge replenished with beers, wine, fruit juice and snacks every day. The rep from tapestry visited every day to answer questions and make suggestions of interesting places to visit.
We took up the suggestion of Kalkan boat trip, which I would highly recommend. Pack your snorkels! You visit 5 bays, have a mud bath, scrumptious seafood and Turkish Meze. We went on the Falcon boat with a lovely roof deck that has mattresses and shading.
Oasis hotel was a great place to stay while on business and I would definitely go back there for a holiday.
