“Great food, great ambience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012

Not only was the food great, the seafood fresh but the location and ambience of the pace was also great. The pricing was reasonable and the staff was well versed with the food that they were serving. The wine list had a vast choice and the wine recommended to us was certainly ver good. A must visit during your stay in Antalya.

“Pleasantly surprised”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

Our group of 4 couples were looking for a cafe to eat in on the beach but at 9PM they were all closed. Mehmet7 was open and looked empty but we walked in to be very surprised. There was seating overlooking the sea which was, justifiably, full as the breeze and the atmosphere was just like a seaside cafe. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Helpings were large and prices were reasonable.

“Mixed feelings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

This restaurant was located next to our hotel and we visited in on the night we arrived. Walking up to the restaurant we were worried we were underdressed as it looked amazing. We were asked if we had booked and were taken to a table outside where the setting was perfect. We were given delicious homemade bread and ordered some starters- we chose traditional Turkish mains and were very impressed with the quality of the food and the price. On a hot evening we were constantly topped up with water which was a nice touch.!
Again during the week we paid another visit to the restaurant- again the staff seemed busy and asked if we had booked- we hadn’t but were still accommodated. Again we took the traditional options as recommended by the waiter and again were impressed.
Having feel slightly bad for not booking yet having an amazing experience we decided to pay one last visit on our last night but this time we booked. We had noticed that all tables who had booked on previous visits had salads, breads and soups served to them yet we did not receive this. The waiter sat us and took our drinks order yet 30mins later we had not received our drinks- the waiter from our previous visits came to check on us and soon realised we had been forgotten. We ordered and instead of getting the homemade bread like all the tables around us we were given dry toast- very disappointing. My husband’s starter came and I was told that mine was on the way. When he had finished his starter mine arrived- it was only salad so we were slightly confused as to the wait.
As I started my salad the main courses came- unhappy with this we called the waiter over and explained that we weren’t ready for the mains and questioned why we had been given toast- he then gave us a basket of bread which we had just watched the table next to us send back as it was dry. When my husband picked up a slice it was hard and had a bite missing out of it! Again we let the waiter know and he removed this. When the mains were bought back as usual they were delicious. We were disappointed as our last two visits were perfect yet this one ruined our perception of the restaurant.
