“Great for families, not for couples”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

As others have noted, this is a huge restaurant filled with locals. We went on a Saturday night, it was packed and the waiters a little harried. We got off to a slow start getting appetizers and drinks, but after that the service was good. The food was also very good, especially the green salad with pesto dressing. Just make sure to add your own olive oil and pomegranate concentrate; our waiter really overdid it. If we had been there with our kids, it would have been pretty close to perfect. With the noise level and activity, no one would have been bothered if our kids weren't quiet -- and there's a play room for the under-six crowd. As a couple out on our own (for once!), we might have liked some place a little quieter and, well, romantic. Not a bad experience at all, just wasn't the ideal choice for us for that night. We had 5 appetizers (including calamari at 15 TL and shrimp at 20 TL), modest sized servings of fish, a 35cl bottle of raki, fruit, dessert and coffee for 220TL. We didn't see a menu and we chose our appetizers from a tray and the fish from a case, but all of this is quite usual in a Turkish fish restaurant. We do speak Turkish, but even if you don't you can always ask the prices as you're ordering.

“Great place for seafood & reasonably priced”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012 via mobile

Was tired of the usual hotel buffet of Turkish food & went to try their local seafood. Their Lara special salad is a must try, refreshing taste of greens with pesto based dressing. They have a good selection of mezze starters & the sautéed mushroom was good. The fried calamari was good & a must try. We were recommended the fried shrimp but one or two pieces were not that fresh. We also ordered the grilled sea bass & sea bream and they were both lovely & fresh. Total bill came to 140 TL which was very reasonable for 4 persons compared to back home in Singapore

“Huge and huge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

Massive place filled mainly with locals. Large family groups and parties of fifteen or more but room enough to accommodate the casual diner. Great selection of meze, and fresh, fresh fish. Worth the walk if you are staying in the Crowne Plaze in Antalya. About 500 metres down the road. Of course you are likely to roll, rather than walk back. Nothing complicated about the food. Good, simple Turkish fare. But fresh and lots of it. Highly recommended, and if you are into fish, even more so. The service is very attentive and friendly. I like the feeling that they enjoy you enjoying.

“Lovely views and great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Antalya. We usually eat here about 3 or 4 times in a year and our last visit was just earlier this month. When we visit here we are usually a family with our older teenagers however sometimes we visit as a couple on more special occasions. On our last visit it was nice to sit outside on the terrace but on the other occasions we usually sat indoors. If the weather is nice sit outside or ask for a table near to the big windows ( once a few years back we were sat next to the childrens playroom door - but that was a different experience and I am sure if we asked to be moved they would have )

the pros; service, attentive staff, quality of food, great ambiance and the location of looking over the sea
the con; just one, its getting very expensive and a bit overpriced. ( this is why I rated it lower on value )

I enjoy the starters and appetizers of calmari and grilled shrimp. The fresh seafood ( usually my husbands order ) is delicious..as for me I usually have grilled lamb chops.

all in all a good experience
