Immediately positive impression of our stay from being picked up by one of the front desk managers at the crazily busy Antalya airport and whisked through the maze of backstreets into the tiny quaint old town in the middle of this otherwise sprawling and unattractive city. The hotel is tastefully designed to combine a fresh, modern feel with historical accents of the stone buildings and furniture. Spacious room overlooking the small but comfortable and relaxing terrace/garden/restaurant/bar/front desk area. Location couldn't be better, just 5 minutes from the harbor and the many restaurants with great ocean views.

Staff friendly and extremely accomodating, to the point of storing our luggage for a further 5 days after our stay while we took off on a tour of the Turquose Coast without charge.

Would absolutely stay here again, a perfect base for exploring the region, though traffic in Antalya itself (outside the old town) might be daunting.

This hotel is fabulous. The management, and all other staff (including the cleaning staff) are fantastic, helpful and curtious. The drinks and laundary prices are exceptionally reasonable (7ytl for beer which equates at this moment as £3.00, which is exceptional cheap for hotels!). The whole hotel is extremely clean, all rooms have beautifully decorated and have first rate air conditioning (at no extra cost!). Internet access is superb and free.
This area of antalya is great for old and young. There are atleast two excellent funky open air nightclubs (Level and Ally) which are worth a visit. As well as calm and relaxing restaurants.

“Great Hotel Option in Old Town Antalya!”

The Mediterra Art Hotel is an up-scale, relatively new hotel in the Old Town section of Antalya. Bilal and his staff do an excellent job of managing the hotel, and we were very pleased with the level of service provided.

The 800-year old building is constructed of stone and wood and it provides an excellent ambiance for guests. The rooms are kept impeccably clean and fresh linens/towels are provided each day.

The hotel is ideally located for visitors who want to shop, sightsee and walk in the Old Town section of the city. It is located approximately 200 meters from the marina and beach. I highly recommend this hotel for those who want a quality experience in Antalya.

I was staying for a conference in one of those huge all-inclusive molochs in the east of Antalya and decided to embed that stay with some days in the old part of the city. My flight was delayed a couple of hours, so it was about 1AM when I finally reached the hotel and although I could not announce my delay, the manager and the clerk were still at the front desk, expecting me and another guest who had not arrived yet. They helped me immediately with all my luggage and provided some information on how to reach the conference location. Returning to the Mediterra after a couple of days, I had a pleasant and relaxing time. The hotel is very compact, as you can imagine from the photos, with the pool dominating the central yard. I spent half a day just swimming and reading on the pillows in the garden area. Altogether it was a great stay far from the busy and pretentious places of "mass touristion".

The rooms are rather spacious and very clean and the houses being freshly renovated, you still get a great deal of atmosphere from the raw stone walls and the winding wooden stairs. The only criticism I have would be on the room doors which are too thin, which is not a problem unless your neighbour chooses to announce his coming or leaving acoustically...

The view from the rooms ranges from charming to "turkish-road-construction" since the whole old town is under refurbishment. When the constructions are ready, the hotel will probably be situated in a both convenient and beautiful place. Just next door there is a small grocery store and a delicious bakery with great opening hours, if they close at all. You can reach the old harbour and some attractions of the citadel within minutes.
