“lovely hotel, but”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2012

We have just got back from titanic hotel antalya.
We stayed a week and had a good time was so relaxing, all staff were very nice and helpfull.
This hotel is spotlessly clean, the grounds and all the surround areas pools etc are just what you would want for a good holiday. Food is very good, plenty of choice on the menu you will never go hungry.
This was our 4th time in turkey and have stayed at some beautiful hotels .

But we feel the one thing that lets it down is the bedrooms, and would not say it is a delux hotel, they need to spend money on refurbishment of rooms and bathrooms, bed linen and pillows, this definitely is not a five star delux hotel.

.For the price that we paid for the weeks holiday we expected a better standard of sleeping accommodation.

Just returned from a one week stay at this hotel on 26th September, 2012. My husband and I were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and were allocated room 1342 which was in a good location for us. Everything about this hotel was lovely the only niggles being some of the waiters rather glum, but others lovely. Poolside tables and tiles were in need of a good clean, we did not use a la carte restaurants as we believe this should be included in holiday cost as it is in the hotel we go to in Egypt, and wifi has to be paid for which we do not agree with as this is also included in Egypt. All in all we had a lovely restful holiday and the food was just fantastic. Many thanks.

just returned from fabulous holiday in turkey, it was our first holiday in turkey but will not be the last, as soon as you arrive at hotel your holiday begins, no hassle check in, the hotel is spotless and the food and entertainment something for everyone. We booked with first choice, the flights and transfers were great, the rep was informative and we booked three good priced excursions, the first was the turkish bath, very good as promised promoted even tanning, and very relaxing. the second trip was the lazy boat day trip, again as promised exactly as sold, good transfers great clean boat, plenty of room for sunbathing, good lunch, good swimming opportunities. the third trip was a shopping trip, again good tour guide very helpful and good local knowledge. the thing that impressed us no hassle trying to sell things you don't want or need, plenty of space, although lots of people there no queuing for sun beds, food, towels, toilets etc. would recommend titanic to everyone. must say though all the hotels on lara beach looked good.

Room Tip: any pool or sea view

Stayed at this Hotel 14/8/12 to 28/8/12. 2 adults and child age 9. Nice thing was only about 15 mins on bus from airport. Arrived late at night. Was celebrating special anniversary whilst there. Booked a high room, full sea view that was quiet. Reception gave us a 3 rd floor room about as far away from the sea that you could get. Went straight back down to see if room could be changed but only words that you hear are "hotel fully booked". was told to see the rep the day after. The noise from the hotel next door kept us awake until the early hours of the morning. Spoke with rep the day after and she advised that although we had paid for sea view room which was expensive, they were only prepared to move us to a room overlooking the car park! was told this all week, the hotel is not very obliging. We did tell them that guest were coming and going every day but we were told that we could not change rooms. Rooms are extremely basic, beds are very hard! takes you a week to get used to them. Cleaning is ok but we had a very thick layer of dust on some ledges that didnt appear overnight. I would say that the rooms are a 3 star and not luxurious at all. Food is ok, nothing special. Dining room can be very busy and you can queue an awful long time if you dont get down by 7.15pm ish. Food at other times is ok, baked potates were fine but at 5 pm they are a bit to near teatime. Drinks are ok, but the Russians and other guests seemed to get priority at all bars before English. Olympic pool at the hotel is lovely and so are the other pools. The slides are very fast and people near the slides got drenched on their sunbeds but it was fun. Very let down by the kids clubs, our daughter was 9 but is very tall so they suggested the older clubs for her as there were a lot of tiny tots in the club she should have gone to. Big problem for us as the kids could come and go as they please and are not supervised so could wander off anywhere. Also they played volleyball in water where they couldn't even stand up! so our daughter stayed with us most of the time until she got some friends to play with in the pool. Read reviews about not being able to get a sunbed but being honest, we stayed around the olympic pool and some mornings we counted 100 sunbeds free, so couldnt see what the fuss was about as we went peak time school holiday. Hotel gardens round back of the hotel were thread bare and needed re-turfing as they looked quite scruffy. Shops in the hotel were extortionate prices so go down the road from the hotel. Beach is ok and very warm but becomes quite deep within a couple of foot. Plenty of good fireworks at all the hotels. Found the famous white party to be just ok and only stopped about 40 mins to see the laser show. There are a few cats at the hotel, but they didn't bother us at all. Found the bar staff to be a bit unfriendly at times and just slopped the drinks into paper cups so it had a Butlins feel at times. The entertainment at night was good, some good shows on. They did a Titanic show one night and we really enjoyed it, they work very hard. The big let down of the holiday was that our daughter had an ear infection and was on antibiotics, on the last day she was really in pain and we asked to pay the 10 euros per hour and keep the room until about 7 pm (70 euros) what a pallaver this was, was refused time after time abd they didn't care that she was ill. Took ages to get the room and then it was only an extra 4 hours and we ended up sitting in reception so she could sleep on the sofas there. We found out that many of the other nationality guests had kept their rooms on with no fuss whatsoever. One English group had spent £15,000 on their holiday and they had the same trouble keeping their room and stayed at reception with us. To get this hotel to five star it would have to have a refurb of the rooms. Although we had a nice holiday and on our anniversary we had fruit, wine and a titanic cushion left, we wouldn't return there. We went to Seven Seas Imperial year before and found this to be a much nicer happier hotel with better facilities and you kepy your room until you left. Was nice and hot there 62 degrees one day so take plenty of suncream.

Just returned from a 11 night stay at this amazing hotel from 14th september to the 25th, i could not fault it in any way, on arrival we were upgraded to a family room which we were highly grateful for and we were worried the room was not going to be big enough for us. This made our holiday and thank the reception staff very much.
The food was plentiful and gorgeous couldnt eat enough of it, always a variety. Very big pools and never busy around the pools always sunloungers for everyone.
Staff were very friendly and professional especially at meal times.
All in all this hotel is amazing a definated five star and will hopefully be returning next yr with my family.

Room Tip: family rooms are lovely :)

literally just got back from a 10 night stay at the titanic. i have stayed in a few 5 star hotels in the last few years on an all inclusive basis an this hotel is no way a 5 star which really disappointed me as thats what i look forward to all year. took the missis an 2 young children an even got my turkish friend at work to email the hotel manager to ask for a nice room however on arrival was angry that the room was very small for 4 of us an dated, so much so that i didnt wanna spend any time in it at all. other familys i spoke to had the same problem .... so if your looking for a 5 star hotel take heed of this coz you will be gutted!!!!! however our general stay was nice enough with the food being very good the turkish staff were great an helpful an there was plenty to keep the kids amused throughout the day into the evening. the weather was perfect 30 -34 during day an nice warm comfortable evenings. wont rumble on so would i go back to lara beach .. yes .. to the titanic ..no!!

Room Tip: if you want a 5 star hotel choose another 1 as you will be very disappointed

I stayed in this beautiful resort in august 2012,everything was good, the decoration of the hotel was spacious, the all inclusive package was very good and everything u need u will find it in the hotel,u don't need to go out of it.
They have very nice programmes and dancing shows in the evening.
It is considered as a family resort and we liked our staying there very much.

Room Tip: They have a very nice indoor swimming pool and spa.
