“Brilliant Holiday!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

A truly brilliant holiday, set in spacious comfortable grounds, a large beautifully designed pool, with no need to get up at the crack of dawn for a sunbed, (plenty available). This hotel has it's own private beach, which is a totally relaxing area. The food is ample with different themed nights to make it interesting, my favourite is breakfast, with full or continental to choose from, any type of cereal or fruit also. The evening shows are more for the younger guests, but, still a nice way to pass the evening before a few drinks to end the day.

We have just booked this Hotel for the third time so it would be fair to same we think it's great!
We stayed June 2011 for the 1st time and then again in June 2012.

We have two children now 9 and 7 both absolutely love the Concorde and can't wait to go back. Although they didn't use the kids club every day they did visit at various times over the holiday. My son is football mad so the mini soccer pitch is a big hit with him he had plenty of opportunities to meet new friends from various countries whilst playing. The mini disco is repetitive (as some reviews say) but familiarity is what young children like so I don't mind listening to the same songs every night. Luckily we don't need to be around the small pool anymore as both my children are competent swimmers and use the fantastic main pool and the watersides. The small pool looks perfect for families with tots though!

Rooms- We booked the Junior suite on both occasions and both times our room has been unavailable at check in! Although annoying the room situation was resolved the following day and we were also given a late checkout!

Food- The first year the Al a carte restaurants were free but are now chargeable. It's really just a cover charge and the food is amazing! The main buffet can be really busy at 7 in the evening but I'm sure you'll find your own routine which suits you. We found that going to the lobby bar for a couple of drinks first allowed the rush to pass....... Although watch out for the lobby bar mojitos which can sneak up on you if you've not eaten!!!

Overall..... A fantastic family resort with good service and great facilities. Really can't wait to go back!!! Happy to answer any questions

Superb hotel with excellent food. The maintenance standards in this hotel are world class, with crew attending to small pieces of missing grout in the external areas. Yes that's how detailed the management of this hotel go to to keep the place clean and safe. Rooms were of a high standard. Staff not as friendly as other Lara strip hotels and this is not a hotel to take young kids to as the kids club is poor and animation team second rate. Spirits were poor and wine never flowed easily as staff guarded the bottles so well, you felt like a shoplifter if you asked for a second glass. That said this is a great place to chill and enjoy a very good holiday. If only management were as hot on customer service as they are on maintenance.

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear of the hotel are much bigger than the side rooms but don't have as much sunshi...

As the title suggests, this was our second visit to the Concorde hotel, the first being 3 and a half years ago. On arrival we were greeted as old friends, check-in was fast and efficient, room was as asked for. The hotel was as good as we remembered and had no problems with getting a table or sunbeds, service was excellent and the choice of food very good. There's just two minor problems, the air conditioning wasn't very good and the internet connection was very slow. All the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. This is a fairly small hotel with superb grounds and pool areas. We would definitely go again.

Room Tip: most of the rooms have a side sea view, lower floors have more powerful showers

Stayed at this hotel for two weeks in early September, which is slightly cooler and less busy. Emailed the hotel 2 weeks before the holiday requesting a high-floor room overlooking the main pool and sea and that is exactly what we got – fabulous! Accommodation was modern, spacious with excellent air-conditioning and spotlessly cleaned daily. The restaurant provided a more than adequate variety of delicious food but in the evenings the atmosphere in the main dining area could be fairly described as a little manic, although if you ventured through the sliding doors to an outer area it was much quieter. At lunchtimes we loved the poolside snack bar that had an ample variety of food and stayed open all afternoon. A-la-carte dining is a must. We tried the Barbecue, Italian, Asian and Steakhouse restaurants – all were excellent. The hotel has a very small cat population most of which are playful, adorable kittens. They have their own cathouse with food and veterinary care provided by the hotel – a great idea and a big hit with children and adults alike. The large pool area came complete with its own entertainment team who are paid not to be shrinking violets and so that said, they did their job well. The main hotel bar had a bit of a corporate feel to it and the adjoining upstairs cigar bar was always empty but the bar had a pleasant veranda and drinks were always easy to get. The coffee/tea bar was always worth a visit after an evening meal, be sure to try the Concorde Special – delicious. Evening entertainment featured very professional circus and acrobatic acts which combined with firework displays from neighboring hotels created a pleasant end to our day. I hope this review has been helpful.¬

Currently staying at the Concorde and having amazing time, would highly recommend it! We have a 2 year old with us and it has felt so easy with him lots to entertain him excellent children's facilities - pool, park, children's club etc and all staff are super friendly! Food is lovely lots of choice and always very tasty. Pizzas at lunchtime are our fave. Evening disco for children is great always followed by a show which have been great quality. Service is excellent at bars and restaurants. Also a fab beach with pier and water sports. Nearly at the end of our 2 week holiday and can't think of any negatives. Had Turkish bath and massage in spa which was lovely and fairly reasonable! Italian restaurant was amazing also BBQ on beach is excellent.
