Check in- Check in is supposed to be at 14:00, and bearing in mind we arrived 15 hours after check in time our room was still not ready. So we were made to wait for over an hour at 5 in the morning for them to get a room ready for us.
Customer service- When we arrived at the hotel we didn't even get a "hello", infact we had very little conversation with any of the staff all week. They never smiled, and if you asked them a question they would just say "I Don't know". The only communication we had from the staff was a shush to be quiet no matter what time it was. When we checked out, they took our key and didn't say a single word. eg.hope you enjoyed your stay, have a safe journey home etc etc, NOTHING!!
Room- Our room was supposed to be a triple, but infact it was a double with an extra Zed bed which was very springy and uncomfortable. When I asked for a propper bed I came back to find they had put an extra mattress on the bed which made it even more wobbly. The view from our room was looking directly into local residents homes, who would not hesitate to give you dirty looks, or stare so much that you didn't want to sit on the balcony. We asked to change rooms, and found the rooms on the other side were adjacent to another hotels balconies (about 1.5 metres apart) so you were face to face with other guests and had no view! Even the seaview rooms were looking out onto the road. In general the rooms were clean and a good size for 2 people sharing, but we were really struggling for space with 3 being squeezed into a doulble room.
Breakfast- was ok, mainly salad and bread with a couple of cereals. Got really boring after a few days.
Location- was excellent for Kleopatra beach just accross the road, town centre and harbour were a 10 minute walk.
Entertainment- On their website it says that they have a turkish nite every week and other recreational activities. When we asked about it the guy at the desk simply said "I Dont know". The only thing that was free to use was the dart board!
In summary the only good thing about the hotel was the location. In the same area there is the Hotel Grande okan, Azak beach hotel, Hotel Aroma, Savk hotel, Grand Zaman so try and go for these.
The Hotel Miray caters more for older German guests, the staff speak very little english and fluent German, there was nothing for kids, and they like to keep the place as quiet as possible with no atmosphere. The attitude of most of the staff was disgusting. Would not even reccomend to an enemy!
