Really do not know where to start with this hotel !!! We arrived in alanya on 17 sep after a 5 hour transfer because our coach driver got lost and used our transfer as his own little taxi service picking up and dropping off locals !! We got to merhaba at around 1 o'clock in the morning to be told our room wasn't gonna be ready till half 2 but we kicked off and got the room then .. Everything was shut by then so we went round the corner to the Monaco cafe which was lovely really friendly ... Our rooms were very basic with 2 single beds mine had a hole in the middle which by the end of our 10 day stayI could hardly walk due to a bad hip caused by this hole!! The cleaner does nothing!!! We had a glass of coke on the side untill it went mouldy so I threw it away but she never took the glass never got clean towels or bedding the shower is tiny u can't even shave ur legs there's no room!! There was a fridge with a lock on but no key!! Our balcony was covered in trees the whole hotel is an overgrown jungle and it stinks!! The first few day we were there it rained heavy which is not the hotels fault obviously but there was an over flow pipe on the roof so wen the rain stopped this carried on for 2 days pouring with water n landing rite outside our door on the marble floor it was literally torture u couldn't sleep though it we were goin to ask to move rooms because of it but it eventually stopped
The food!!!!! Oh my god iv never seen anything like it and I'm never normally fussy on holiday about food but this was unedible!! We went all inclusive but we ate out all the time because of the state of the food.. There was no butter for the bread and if you asked for it you got looked at like you have 2 heads and they charged you !! Just loads of recycled greasy slop!! The staff are filthy and never changed there uniform they had the same stains on the clothes every day and so did the tablecloths!! and if ur English they don't like u and are very ignorant!! The only person to speak to is was the night security man who was very nice we were the only English people there and we were pushed about and laughed at by every1 speaking there own language they are very very rude and it's a lonely place to be if your English :(
The entertainment was a Ping pong table and they only put music on when they felt like it and then it was too quiet .. The pool was nice but u will never get a tan because it is shaded by the big jungle that they call a beautifully manicured gardens!! Yeah rite!!!
At night the bar finishes at 11 on the dot but if u go to get 1 last drink at 10 to u will have to pay!! And you can't get drinks for the person with u they have to get there own I was told it was forbidden!!
Then while u are still sat here at 1 minute past 11 they turn all the lights off including the pool lights so u can't see it at all !! Very dangerous!!
If you want to carry on drinking in your room you get told off and you can't bring your own drinks in!! I recommend drinking at the old Taffys just 1 minute walk outside best place to go if ur from Great Britain as it's welsh we spent most of our holiday in there because of the wifi never worked in the hotel and if u asked why they just said "don't know"!!
When u speak to any of the shopkeepers they say it's the worse hotel in alanya and they are not kidding I could go on for hours about this !!
The good bit is the location , strait facing the beach but u have to cross a road that resembles the m6 to get there ,, and alanya is absolutly beautiful I will definatly come here again but not in the merhaba!!!
I really would not wish this place on any1 please just don't go !!
