“Fantastic family holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013 via mobile

Great location on the beach. Plenty of activities for everyone at cheap and very reasonable prices. Plenty of food and choices, the waiters looks after you. Most staff very helpful and eager to please, remember one thing there is no such thing as a free trip to medina market as that member of staff takes you to his family shops, so take a taxi or bus as medina market is very cheap and remember to haggle! You will get the item for the price you want to pay. Quad biking (2hrs) is a great experience, kids really enjoyed the beach party but the pirate ship looks and sound better than it actually is. Rooms are basic but clean, overall this is a fantastic 3* hotel.

Have just returned from the most amazing holiday ever here at club selima after a scary start at the airport with Tunisian men grabbing ur cases to get them on the bus we arrived at the hotel just after midnight and was treated by friendly start at reception and was given a bottle of water that was really appreciated after a 2 hour transfer on a cramped bus got to the room room was clean and spacious no complaints.
The food
Breakfast was ok although sometimes a bit strange with salad and cake for breakfast but hey always fresh lunch and dinner there was always something to eat and I'm quite fussy always pasta and salad if you don't wanna try new things and the desserts are amazing and seem to be very popular so grab them while u can
The beach
Was clean and tidy lifeguards always present even had beach security always plenty of sun loungers although u do have to pay 2 dinar a day for a sun bed mattress which is nothing really and well worth it
The pools
We're always clean no complaints
Animation team
The team were amazing always plenty of activities to do through the day and tried really hard at night with the shows a must watch is the comedy show I have never laughed so much in my life
Overall a fantastic holiday can not complain and loved Tunisia will be going again

This was our first family holiday with the kids, the hotel is basic and a bit tired but we took it for what we needed a bed to sleep in !!! really do not understand what people expect from a *** hotel, the staff were superb all day every day, they have energy, cant do enough for you, will run around and book stuff and generally look after you, I saw a review before i went saying about German visitors, yes the hotel is mostly full with German & Russian guests which for me was perfect I wanted to get away from the UK (although we met some lovely UK people) to say that they are treated better is rubbish, as soon as the staff found out we were English they couldn't be more helpful and run around for us, My children 9 & 14 had a great time, the evening entertainment is like every other holiday a bit cheesy but that is what makes me smile and relax, as for facilities, football pitches, crazy golf, 2 x swimming pools, pool tables, table tennis I could go on not to mention the hotel backs onto the beach. We did a range of activities including, quad biking, sofa surfing, jet skis, paragliding, sousse market trip etcc.... Value for money is everything for me and from the hotel to the activities this is the cheapest place I have been, FOOD: quite basic as you would expect on all inclusive, but edible at the same time, we got around the boredom by going out two evenings for meals to break it up, again the waiters & staff again highest quality !!, all in all we are looking to book again for next year as we had a superb holiday from start to finish. (If your looking for 5* then book 5* don't expect something for nothing)

Of all the hotels I have stayed at this hotel has the most friendly staff
I have met.
This was our second visit to the hotel, on our arrival this time the staff remembered us and came out to the coach before we had got off!!
Food is very good and plentiful though the breakfast could do with improving.
Rooms are adequate with plenty of space (l'm a big guy!!)
Yes, most of the other guests are German or Russian but don't think that should be an issue to anyone.
Go on, visit the hotel, it's great.

Room Tip: Give cash tips to the staff, they deserve it, and it won't make a hole in your pocket!

My daughter and i went here in oct..altho the weather wasnt great we had a lovely time.Food was lovely and plenty, only problem was there was so many Russians who were very pushy and igornant.Hotel was clean and well maintained, beach was outstanding and only a short walk down the path from the hotel.Staff were friendly and bend over backwards to plz you..anamation was graet and even tho the weather was poor they kept ever1 going. The lane leading up to the hotel has a suppermarket at the corner which has everything you cld need..just down the rd there is a shoping centre..icecream cafe..and a few other shops selling nick nacks...when we were there we went on the quad's which is cheaper to book across the rd from the hotel than the hotel itself..that was a great day out..also the camel's day trip was great fun..in all i wld defo go back here again..beautiful country and ppl are so friendly..going back this yr and looking forward to it..

Me and 3 friends went to Club Selima for a week of relaxation and sun in the beginning of October, the deal we got was amazing and that’s one thing you can’t fault, great value for what you’re paying! The weather was amazing and we were very lucky as the weather took a turn for the worst on the day we left,
The staff at the hotel are all excellent! Especially the entertainment team they could not do enough for you and always got you involved in the day time and night, there is a nightclub in the hotel which definitely reminded me and my friends of the one in the inbetweeners film but was a good laugh and played some good music!
Be warned the hotel is mainly full of Russians who are in fact the rudest people i have ever met in my entire life, if they were not constantly gawping at you the whole day they were barging into you and generally just making you feel uncomfortable, I ended up falling over by the pool area and consequently ending up in a wheelchair, which whilst unable to get up off to floor (out of sight of my friends) no one came over to see if i was ok or help me up they all just stared and gave me dirty looks, this grew even worse when i had to be wheeled round all week.
The food wasn’t terrible but very repetitive and gave myself and friends upset stomachs for the course of the week, very European choice and random things i had never seen in my entire life.
Although this review is showing quite negative, rooms are clean and basic and have everything you need, the staff you cannot fault, except word of warning if you do hire a safe keep the paperwork as they will not give you your money back without it (Which conned everyone) and once you found it they told you it was too late and because you had given them the key back already it became void.
I probably wouldn’t return to this hotel mainly due to the food, but it catered for a nice short break!!

The actual hotel is o.k. with some nice gardens and views, the food was just edible, If you can eat food that is often covered with flies and very repeptitive, The staff are very friendly, infact they are really lovely and try very hard though the majority of guests are German and they look after them first. I guess its what you might expect just about from a three star but many other guests were complaining of filthy rooms and serious stomach upsets. Maybe I was unlucky looking at other reviews yes it is very cheap but I still wouldnt stay there again also tourists need to be made ver aware that bag/camera snatching is rife even in daylight.
