Arrived to hotel 22 September.

If you are prepared to live in Hotel rotten from bottom to top you may like this one.

Check in: it took 1 hour to get a room suitable for living
1st one - garbage on the carpet in living area of the appartement.
2nd room - no lights at all.
3d room dirty but big and with a nice view

Next day around 12 am room was "cleaned" - they changed towels in bathroom and made the bed, swiped floor - so room became liveable.

Reception - staff is rudе and very unprofessional with bad english and very bad attitude.

Restaurant - always queue, to get food - dirty plates next to food very difficult to find cutlery.

Beach is about 700 meters away from hotel to get to the beach you will have to walk along side open sewerage - without gas mask it is very hard task,
sewerage flowing directly in to the water on the Hotels beach.

Sweaming pool at the hotel - about 20 sunbeds around pool - for 250-300 guests
Emergency fire stairs closed because they are simply rotten. Steps on the stairs maid of metal rusted to big holes so it is not safe to use those.
Instead of stair replacement hotel chose to simply close fire escapes.
It is a death trap in case of fire.

I decided to change hotel after first night in most terrible 4 star hotel I had ever seen in my life. Hotel most definitely not deserve stars on its walls.

RUN from this Hotel as fast you can!!!

Before going to Tunisia everyone described the Hotels there as being amongst the most luxurious and lavish in the world, however this was not the case with the Vincci Resort in Port El Kantaoui …

The curtains in our room were filthy, including the shower curtains in the bathroom, all of which are in desperate need of being cleaned. The door to our balcony did not close properly, and whilst this did not bother me at first, it was allowing for more noise to come in from outside, and I would be woken up in the middle of the night by the noise of cars passing by and honking their horns (quite a common occurrence in Tunisia). The chambermaids made our beds and changed our towels almost everyday – meaning that we would sometimes go back and find that they had only done one OR the other …

The TV stations you get are mostly Arabic or French and you only get one channel in English (MBC2) and one in Italian (Italia Uno). It is also worth mentioning that there was only one electricity socket in the room, and the TV was connected to it … so make sure you take an extension with you!!

The breakfast and dinner were ok I guess, but while in Tunisia we spent a night in another 4 star hotel (during our Sahara Explorer tour with TTS, which I highly recommend!!) and even here we could immediately see the difference, because this hotel was immaculate and the food was on a whole different level. Another thing which bothered us at the Vincci resort was that there would never be any cutlery on the table, and you would always have to ask one of the waiters for them. The meat and cheese slicer which was operated by a waiter at first, also stopped working the last few days, and everybody had to cut their own slices of meat and cheese by hand from then onwards …

Having said all of this, I would not like to end my review on a bad note, as the Vincci resort itself is not a bad place to stay at – it is in a prime location just 5 mins walk from the port, and 5-10 mins by taxi from the centre of Sousse. It’s also very close to the beach, which I hear is very nice. The staff in the hotel is also amongst the most friendly I’ve ever met (all except for the guy that works in the shisha bar) and when my girlfriend twisted her ankle most of them even expressed their concern. So in short, if you want a cheap holiday and you’re not too bothered with these things then I’d say go for it, however if you’re looking for a luxury holiday by the pool I suggest going elsewhere as this hotel definitely does not merit 4 stars – in fact I suspect that the 4th star was acquired (like everything else in Tunisia) by haggling. I like it, so nice all is great , the staf are so freindly,the pool nice, the room so nice and great a little bit not clean but it's so large, the air conditioning cold so great the room service she is nice, the snack bar have a nice drinks the Restreant too, the food so nice and sweet... realy i like it, I want back again ... Thanks

Just come back from a holiday at the vincci would definately not recomend it rooms and hotel clean no entertainment pool is roof top an not very big in fact the indoor pool is bigger food is not worth eating we only slept their an visited another hotel all day on the town at night the vincci needs a really good revamp can't understand Thomas Cook wanting to sell this hotel they need to send an english rep out their no way is this a four star .30.8.12
