“great relaxing stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

just returned sunday after a two week stay.we are pensioers and had a good holiday at this hotel. no stress very relaxing. the only problem we had was getting seated outside in the evening.we never had any stomach problems with the food,i think they try their best to accommodate you in every way,but maybe could do with a few more staff. the beach guys were very good, had the same sunbeds every day. its nice to tip a little as they really appreciate this. to us its just small change.all in all, had a good stay and would think about staying again. but we don't always go back to the same country as we travel a lot.but if we go back to Tunisia we would stay here.

Me and my husband went here for our honeymoon, - food was horrendous, cold meals every night, same food every night.
Reception staff are rude
No Entertainment of a night time
Location Poor - if you want shops within walking distance do not stay here - if you like to be hounded by the locals with their shops do not go here.

the only positive was the Cleaners they were always working there butts off.

My friend & I booked this holiday as a cheap & cheerful, no frills holiday & that's exactly what we got. If we had wanted something special, we would have paid more.
The entertainment team are very keen but seem to forget that not everybody wants to join in with aqua gym/archery/darts etc. Rather than be left in the peace & quiet that they obviously have come on holiday for, these guests are then subject to a running commentary of the activity via a very loud microphone and even louder bad music. On one occasion I asked if the music could be turned down & was told to smile & be happy.
The staff work very hard & the place is kept clean.
My friend & I reported a very loud neighbour on our second day and a note was finally put through his door 4 days later. Same with some perfume that I had stolen from the bathroom. Reported 3rd day, still no outcome 4 days later. However, I did manage to organise a free courtesy room for our last day. This was arranged through Sarah our rep and when we went back to the room after noon, we were locked out & had to renegotiate with reception. Not very well handled at all.
The food is plentiful & fresh but quite repetitive. The stampede by the Russians at 7pm when the dining room doors open has to be seen to be believed. It resembles the first day of the Next sale!
The cleaners come in 3 times during the day. One to collect your towels...that's fine but then what do you take to the pool? One to clean the room...fine. Thirdly to bring you fresh towels....no good when you are already at the beach/pool. I had to physically go and find the towel trolley a few times & take some towels.
The alcoholic drinks are definitely watered down....weights & measures/trading standards would have a field day!
We had heard that tips should be made early in the holiday to ensure good service. I would prefer good service and then tip but we found that a smile and please/thank you worked very well.
As per a previous review, we were also told by our cleaner on our second day that she was going on holiday that day for 2 weeks. After investigation by the hotel on my stolen perfume, it turned out the same cleaner was cleaning for a further 3 days but she had been there years & couldn't possibly have taken anything.
The patio door also didn't close properly & was finally fixed with a piece of plastic from a water bottle by 3 maintenance men!
My friend had a dodgy tummy 3 times which we think was down to the glass washing process which consists of an upturned brush in soapy water then dunked in clear (unbottled) water.
Be prepared to be awake from 6.30am in order to reserve a seat by the pool. Unfortunately this procedure still exists which should be banned. We saw many sun beds not used until late afternoon.
This is a predominantly Russian holiday destination.

just got back on sunday 5th oct, on arrival we where greated by a very friendly man on reception who checked us in and a porter showed us to our room, the room was basic but very spacious and clean and the bathroom was clean also. aircon, pool towels and room safe where all free and no deposit required for any. Our towels and bedding where changed every day, the cleaning staff never stopped the hotel was spotless. I,ve read a few comments on the food but the hotel caters for people from across europe from brits to french, germans, russians and other east europeans, there was a wide variety of food available at every sitting, i found something i liked all holiday, also for fussy eaters there was burger and chips and a bbq at the beach bar and crepe,s icecream and popcorn at the pool bar, so always something to eat. there was no early morning race for sunbeds, i went down every morning at 9am on my way to breakfast and there was plenty of beds still stacked up which the life guard helped get 2 for me. the pool area was clean, glasses and ashtrays cleaned away regularly, pool bar had 1 barman but never waited more than 2 minutes for a drink, hotel has its own beach also with plenty of beds, the animation team where one of the best i have seen, there was always something going on, archery, darts, boules, water polo and more but the team did not push you and they still found time to come over and have a laugh and joke with you. i cant comment on the evening entertainment i never went but other holidaymakers seemed to enjoy it, there was also a disco until 2am which is also included in your all inclusive, i,ve just read a review from someone who was there the same time as myself i cant understand their negative views, its a 3* hotel but its pushing 4* in my eyes and we will be going back next year. last thing to say, you are going to a country with a tipping culture so tips do help make your holiday. i tipped waiters 2 dinars ( 80p) every sitting, barman the same 2/3 times a day pool attendant the same when he helped me with beds and the room cleaner 10 dinars on my last day, its a tip not a bribe as has been said in other reviews, like i said i will definately be going back next year.

Animation staff were brilliant and made the holiday for us, especially Niño! The food was fantastic everyday and the rooms were clean! The show time entertainment was a bit hit or miss but they really tried to make each show different. I really did not want to come home and I would go back in a heart beat!

After reading some of the reviews on here I was a bit worried about what we had let ourselves in for, but I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The foyer was clean, bright and well furnished. The staff were friendly and a porter took us to our room and showed us where everything was. The pool area was very clean and the pool attendants very obliging. The food in the restaurant was excellent, they steered away from catering for the English taste, which suited us. The waiters were very helpful too. The location was good and the beach was at the end of a very short path, with it's own bar/café. The animation team was very enthusiastic and encouraging, getting us to leave our loungers for archery, aerobics, salsa dancing and the evening entertainments, we especially liked Campa, who didn't mind joining in on the jokes and most of the time being the butt of them. We wanted a relaxing and chilled holiday and that is certainly what we got.

Room Tip: We had a room over looking the front which was were glad of, the terrace is at the back and they ser...
