This hotel delivers well below its promise. Huge, in a spectacular seaside location with spectacular views (from most rooms, but check: some face the highway) and a large central pool complex, it gets let down by substandard infrastructure (noisy air conditioning) and extremely variable service (a brilliantly efficient old-style concierge, but terrible service in the main buffet restaurant, full of uncleared tables, and nonexistent in the Italian restaurant, which we left after fifteen uneventful minutes). The poolside areas are large but extremely densely populated by Tunisian families (overseas visitors are few) and the private beach is a disappointment (no snack or toilet facilities). The hotel is relatively isolated and a taxi is needed to go anywhere, but this appears the norm for seaside hotels in this area. Overall, we suspected that much better quality could be found in a similar category at the price.
