We spent few days mid april to the Odysée Resort.
Although, the reviews I read before were not enthousiastic, we had a nice stay. The service is good and polite, the hotel is very clean and the garden, the pool and the beach are superbs and very well kept, tennis courts are perfect.
The food at the main restaurant is somehow standard, but the choice is vast. Main restaurant is a bit noisy but since we were with our kids we contributed to the noise level.
I could consider coming back and I would rate this hotel as charming with respect to the surroundings.

Well, what can i say... never seen such a nice hotel with such a terrible service... here it goes:
1. if you want to see the odysee resort have a look at there web presentation- its great and it shows realistically how this place looks... one word WONDERFULL 5*
2. Beach is great... probably the best in all Tunisia... certainly better then anywhere else in Djerbe/ Zarzis area. 5*
3. Animation during the day is good... lots of sports on the beach and aldo not perfect, animation team is really trying hard so a good 4* for them... animation in the evening... well .... the kids love it! for 21-40 not really something to look forward to...
4. Reception... poor... no one really speaks English in the hotel and i mean it- no one! few words here and there but my suggestion if you are only English speaking : its planet Mars situation :) + no one really cares about your language problems etc so reception 2* and that second star comes only because the two members of the reception team (one girl and one man...) at list they tried to help...
5. bars restaurants etc 1*- never seen such a un-polite waiters and bartenders + total disorganization and crazy working hours... no one serving drinks on the beach... even the beach restaurant not serving drinks without food?!?! Unacceptable!!!
6. waiters- NO COMMENT. 1* they are never on time, even if they don’t understand they say OK and then they just do not come back so you have to order everything at list 2-3 times(2 good - normal ones not enough for the picture!). very un-polite! ROOM SERVICE: disaster... 30min for ice?!? and thats if they bring it... 2*
7. food 4*... cooks are great personality and always ready to help... 4* for normal days but 3* for days when there are some special events like "berber night" or "seafood night" in the beach restaurant... anyway for 4* hotel very good so 4* with a :)
8. disco- forget about it. 1* DJ lost in space 0*. we tried twice (26-34 years groop of people...) and its no go 100%.
9. zarzis nothing to see.
10. tennis courts TERRIBLE STATE !!! so don’t count on it and insist with the travel agent to guarantee the state of it! the courts are some kind of clay bit lines are made of "concrete"!! Unfortunately no one ever sprays those courts and maintaining does't exist! i used it but its long way from four star hotel tennis courts 2*
So, overall... for me it was ok somewhere between 4*-3* out of five...if you want to rest and enjoy the beautiful place with your loved one, GO but be prepared for all above... if they change attitude and 75% of stuff then it will be dream place with 10*!
