we highly recommend this hotel. Lots of fun and free activities. Every detail we feel good. They even provide more free beverage and a clock. Room is big enough. The beach is a good view. The hotel design is special and beautiful.

Recently renovated the hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff is courteous and sincerely helpful. Large resort has all the amenities from full buffet breakfast to retail shops, fitness center and beach club. The compound and complementary transportation within the 6 hotel resort retreat is convenient. Enough to do to keep you satisfied for days. We didn't want to leave. The resort was full but we did not feel crowded or deprived of privacy. We enjoyed the baby elephant available for children to pet and ride at brunch.

This resort is fab!! We stayed for a short break after Chinese New Year just to get out of China!! We had a 2 bed loft and the hotel website does not do justice to the quality of the 'room' at all. A small kitchen area with teas / coffee, loo, sitting room and terrace on the ground floor, a double room with bathroom on the first floor, a twin with bathroom on the second floor, and a huge roof top terrace! All furnished and equipped to a very high level! Spotlessly clean, superb service from everyone in the hotel! This resort had very few Brits or Americans (not sure why?) but quite a lot of Chinese and Russians with a few Europeans thrown into the mix. Drinks and food were on the expensive side with the Grill Bar being massively overpriced - we decided against a steak at approx £50 / 500RMB with veg / sauce / potatoes all extra! Good food is available on the beach for lunch which avoids a huge hotel bar bill I guess! The pool area is amazing, plenty of comfy loungers in a variety of areas dotted around the hotel. Bear in mind that no rooms are on the beach - all are on the lagoon with either a lagoon or pool view (the 2 bed lofts overlook the lagoon and breakfast is taken in the Grill - much nicer than the self service Market Place restaurant), but the beach is only a few minutes walk away with hotel staff to look after you. There are 'hawkers' on the beach but they don't bother you really which is refreshing! The beach isn't the best I've been to but nice enough! Enjoy!

We stayed at 1 of the houses in Laguna Water. It has 4 bedrooms and its own 15m swimming pool. It is not in the main Angsana building but it is just 3 mins by taking the hotel shuttle. We really like it. It was quiet, relax and we had access to all the pools and both buffet breakfast and a la carte breakfast. Also they provided 4 bikes that we could use. Excellent venue and value for money.
