“First stop in Phuket”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2012

The accommodation here is luxury at a sensible price. We had free pick by both the owners from the airport. The welcome smiles and service were fantastic. The car trip to the resort took about 10 mins. Perennial consist of three beautifully designed bungalows. The design detail and fish is to very high standard. This is a new accommodation and is peaceful and relaxing. The owners are helpful in everyway possible. The beach which is situated in the national park is beautiful and clean and only 5 minutes walk. There is no hassle and bustle about this area. Everything is relaxed and operates at a slow pace. Great to relax and recharge after a long flight or great place to stay prior to your next flight. Some reviews mention the A/C being too small and we would agree, however the owners have picked up on this and provide an additional portable A/C. There is no problem with the A/C it's just the villas are huge. The bathroom and shower are the size of most hotel rooms. The bedrooms are large and the best ever mattress. There is a sitting room with all the equipment for self catering if you wish too. We would have stayed longer but we needed to watch the budget as we still had two months in Thailand. Great place great price. Young couple who have the perfect ingredient to make your stay special. We know there are future plans to expand and a small pool who finish off a great place and make this a complete package. However Rome was not built in a day and these guys are building a dream and making a great job of it. Than you from the both of us

Room Tip: All three bungalows are great,

We booked this hotel not expecting much - we just wanted a place close to the airport for our 7am flight the next day. We were very impressed with the service, room, and overall experience! The rooms are VERY big and clean, the staff is extremely sweet and helpful, and the hotel is very peaceful despite its proximity to the airport (not even 5 min away).

I highly recommend this hotel. One piece of advice, however: print out a map of the area to show your taxi driver because it is located on a tiny street that cab drivers normally don't go into. Or at least make sure that you have the hotel's phone number in case the driver gets lost.

We were at Perennial from the 27th to the 2nd.. a full week. we were 3 families who took all 3 bungalows and 2 of the families had 2 kids each.. so the resort being a 3 bungalow resort we had the whole place for us. As this was a brand new resort it did have its teething problems etc. but the owners Aim and Golf made everything go away.. This lovely couple make a world of a difference for us with a personal service and made us feel like as if we were part of the family.

They told us that the final plan was to have 15 bungalows and for this final aim they are taking things slow and steady step by step.. we wish them well..

The beach which is 1 meters away is enclosed in a national park and they do take entry fees from foreigners but for this if u inform Aim or Gold early they will sort it out.

also they have fee bicycles for use if u want to wonder around. if u go to the little village past the Naiyan beach u can rent a mo-pad for 200 to 300 bht per day. and If u go in the other direction to the city u can find many seven-elevens or a 24 hrs Tesco Express.. also the massage parlor at the top of the road (which goes as massage 1 and massage 2) are also excellent.

If u plan to hire cars u can do that from the airport but this should be hired before u arrive IF its in the peak season..

Oh dont forget to drop in to the WAT'S beach bar and say hi to Mr. Wat.. who will always serve u quite generous shots of alco located in the middle of the village by the sea few shops away from the motorbike rental shop.

Room Tip: u get only 3 bungalows all are good...

We stayed at Perennial for one night on our honeymoon, since we had a very early flight the next morning. We were so pleased with the service, location, and accommodations. We arrived early before check-in, and they held our bags for us and let us use their bikes to ride to the beach. The beach is very close and you can either walk, or use their bikes. The location is perfect if you are looking for a nice place near the airport. We had a lot of fun watching the planes land on the beach. For dinner we walked to the strand of seafood restaurants on the beach, and had a wonderful evening. The room itself was very clean, and quite large. There are only three rooms in this resort, and each one is it's own little house, which provides a lot of privacy. The room service menu is enormous, and has several options to please anyone. The only thing that could have made it better, was if they had an additional AC unit in the room. The one unit was not strong enough to cool the entire place. Luckily there were several fans, so it was not a problem. If we ever find ourselves in Phuket again, we will be back!
