“Where did the water go?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

When the tides out the tides REALLY out...you have to wade quite a distance to swim in any decent depth. And when the tides in...if you are staying at the Adamas, you could get stuck crossing the creek. Otherwise there is plenty of shade and enough soft sand to enjoy, fishing boats to see and beach restaurants aplenty.

“Picture postcard”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013 via mobile

We love Nai Yang beach. Still relatively unspoiled & not over developed. Lots of places to eat at reasonable prices. Search out your own favourites. Ours is Hangout.
Wide range of hotel choices, from plush 5 star to cheap rooms.

First stop in Thailand and Nai Yang beach was wonderful. Great little town with lots of food options along the beautiful beach. Great to swim or just hang out.

charming little beach town... head a bit north and you got remote beach without the crowds! have fun chasing the sand crabs... they're faster than cheetahs.

“Ones of Phukets best Beaches”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

Take it from someone who has lived on Phuket for a couple of years (and counting) this truly is one of the best beaches on the island. Still relatively unspoilt this is a great stretch of golden sand with plenty of room so you are not elbow to elbow with others (a pet peeve of mine when visiting beaches). Unlike Patong the road behind the beach is not over developed and has a sleepy village feel to it. The local convenience shops are well overpriced though so might want to forego that ice cream or soft drink unless you are feeling lavish, best adice is to bring your own if you can
