“Does exactly what you want it to”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2014

This delightful restaurant is a great break from Thai food. Their breads are just epic (a rarity in Asia). A little hint is to choose the baguette as you get a lot more sandwich for your money that way - literally twice as much filling.

The name lucky 13 apparently means that every 13th sandwich ordered is free. We ordered 7 and didn't get any so I can't comment on how accurate this is.

I asked them to make a fresh juice recipe that wasn't on the menu and they did no problem. We asked for 3 sandwiches to take away too. Somehow they misheard us and we got 4 in the bag (two of which were wrong). But to be honest, we should have checked that before we left. I can't actually remember if we overpaid or not.

Basically it's the best sandwich you'll likely get in Phuket. All the ingredients are awesome. If you really wanna get a good deal, take the nordic meatball sub - you get A LOT of meat in there.

My friend had the burger and it was so so, nothing special. Stick to what they are good at.

“Great sandwich”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2014

Really good sandwich. Best place on Wiset road, pop in, have a coffee, grab some food. Daniel (chef) is good. If in the morning - try breakfast platter - yummy.

“Nice sandwiches”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2014

The sandwiches are large and we found that one was big enough for the two of us for a light lunch.

We were told the bread is freshly delivered every day. and we soon discovered that although it is delivered every day it doesnt get there till around 12;00 so any sandwiches sold in the morning are from the previous days bread, So they were not as nice.

The shop is lovely and clean, they seem to keep everything refrigerated till its needed and theres a good selection of fillings.

Worth a visit if you crave a bit of western food. but go in the afternoon.

“clean place, good service but not the best sandwich in town”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2014

Lucky 13 is, same as spoon full of sugar not a real restaurant, its a coffee and breakfast place. The place is new, clean and the service is friendly and attentive without being pushy. The sandwiches are good, you have the choice between 5or 6 kinds of bread, but for me the better ones you get in spoon full of sugar. The pricing is the same, more or less. They also have breakfast which is reasonable priced.

“Stick to the sandwiches!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2014

Although it is quite pricey in terms of thailand the sandwiches are unbelievable! Big portions and big flavour. But would recommend sticking to popping in for a sandwich or two and steer clear of anything else.

All in all recommend you check this place out!!
