“Good value hotel near the beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 days ago NEW

Stayed 10 days at the resort earlier this month.Rooms are very specious and comfortable. Swimming pool is well maintained and clean. Was surprised that most days I had the pool to myself. The girls working at the pool bar were very friendly, and always had a smile on their faces, although their english was rather limited somewhat. My only criticism of the hotel was the Wi-fi.Picked up a signal in the reception area and occasionally by the pool, but very erratic in my room, signal kept dropping out! When I was checking out on my last day I had a chat to the manager who reassured me that they will be looking at overcoming the Wi-fi issues.

Stayed in room 311 for 5 nights and would only stay again if they got new mattresses which were incredibly hard and uncomfortable. There is a great pool with bar and the breakfast spread was good. Staff are friendly and the hotel is in a great spot with plenty of eating, drinking, shopping and massage places surrounding it. Hotel is situated only 5 minutes from the beach.

Stayed here for the last two weeks of April when the beaches are much quieter than the height of the season.
I must say that we have stayed in a few hotels in Patong over the past years, and we found this one to be one of the best at the price.
We chose a Superior room which was located at the back of the hotel and facing out onto the pool area. The room was a good size and had all the prerequisites for a comfortable stay (air con, shower/bath with toiletries, good size firm bed, kettle, TV, room safe, outside seating area and plenty of hanging and storage space).
Breakfasts are taken in the small restaurant, tea/coffee, fruit juices, eggs how ever you like, at least five hot dishes some Thai some European, salad bar, cereals, toast/cake and a selection of fruits, all of which were available from 6 to 10am and were replenished whenever stocks dwindled.
The pool has a good number of sunbeds, with towels collected from reception.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the whole hotel is clean, tidy and well kept.
The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from the beach, pathway along the side of a very busy road.
The room we initially had 305 was very good, but it did have a small water leak from the bath/shower taps, this did not bother us as the water just ran down the outside corner of the bath and into the drain away designed for this purpose. Unfortunately at the end of the first week someone attempted to cure the leak and snapped off the pipe, resulting with us having to move rooms while they fixed the problem (that room was empty for the remainder of our stay).
Anyway our new room 310 although still in the same area was not quite as good, tucked away in the corner it was the same size but not as much storage facilities for clothes, and only one electrical outlet, luckily we did not use the TV so the kettle just plugged in that socket (I could see that being a problem for people who like to watch TV on holiday).
Anyway, first the toilet would not flush, then the air con stopped working, then a whistling noise late at night from the toilet, then the air con not cooling the room very well. All were fixed pretty quickly except the air con not being very efficient, the engineer said ' the unit was working OK but it was not as good as the one in room 305' so at night we had the air con running flat out and still it was quite warm and a little uncomfortable for sleeping.
One thing we did notice, was that some rooms were at the front of the hotel overlooking the busy main road, and as this counties drivers are notorious for using their horns, well need I say more.
I suppose the question has to be would we return? And our answer would be,"most definitely provided we could have room 305"

Stayed Sept last year, the staff were great, the breakfast adequate and a short walk down to the beach area. The rooms are v/good and the pool is big and clean. The price of a beer was on par with what you would pay in the bars. Also being in the south area it was away from the noisy side of Patong being Bangla Rd
Will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: We stayed in the RH rooms past the reception area, couldn't fault except my wife being short nee...

We stayed for 11 nights, This was a wonderful place to stay, staff were so helpful in every possible way, Nobody was ever unhelpful or unfriendly. Has tourist info desk and always got discount on all excursions, Pool is clean and pool bar staff very attentive my only advise is pay your pool bar tab as you go, we had a lot of confusion when it come to settling up.
Hotel has a good central location in a nice setting. 5 min walk to the beach and some good bars on rout, Seahorse was my top pick, friendly Thai/British owners, Bangla road about a 10 minute walk.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2015

Check in was easy, staff is friendly enough. They do not have elevators but somebody will lift your baggage for you. The superior room was decent, but I agree that the bathroom is not up to standard. The bathtub water in our room however was only slightly greenish and not as green as described in some comments here. Also, Kleenex tissues (standard) were not provided in the room and the TV internal settings were in Russian. At the great deep pool they only had one CD for background music so after 5 or 6 days you could sing a long to all the songs. The room had a nice balcony, safe that needed to be opened by staff after it discontinued working, fridge with minibar. Housekeeping charged for 2 bottles of water we did not consume and when we informed front desk, they did not correct their mistake until check out. Also they charge for wifi in room, it is free in lobby but you can catch the free signal from your room if you are lucky. Caught one mosquito per day, so that is reasonable. For the prize I would stay again. Quite a walk to Bangla Road but also away from the crazyness. Unless a loud Chinese group stays in your neighbor room, it is quiet. Five minutes walk to the Patong beach. Recommended.

Room Tip: they did not give an upgrade so if you want a nice room, better book it right away
