“Nice and convenient hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2012

Staffs were extremely polite.
Brkft was limited but good enough.
Just across the road is the patong beach.
Shopping area everywhere and nite markets just 1 street down.
Will go bk again..

Room Tip: Value for money ... But try to get a room that is in the new block...

I loved the location which was smack in the middle of Taweewong Road. The beach was a short hop across the road. So don't be fooled by the name Beachfront as the hotel is not located ON the beach. It was never too far a walk to all the other attractions like Bangla Road or Jungceylon Mall. There is a 24-hr Burger King at the hotel entrance, lots of restaurants along the street, plenty of stalls to get your souvenirs and tour desks aplenty as well.

Tuk-tuks are easily available at the hotel entrance but do bargain for a decent price! Be forewarned. For your reference, there is a large signboard at the east end of the beach, that states the recommended tuk-tuk prices for journeys all around Phuket.

My room on the third floor was decent though rather dimly-lit. I could not open my curtains at all as it looks out into Baan Laimai's corridors, the hotel next to Royal Palm. There are no lifts in this hotel. The bathroom was separated by a glass wall and you could look into the bedroom if you sat in the bathtub. Though I would not recommend it as the tub looked like it needed a really good scrub.

There is free WiFi throughout the hotel but apparently some rooms do not get any coverage at all. There is a small airconditioned lounge area in the lobby where you could do a bit of reading or surfing in cool comfort. I even saw some people having a meeting with their tour agent there.

The spa area on the fifth floor was cosy and a very pleasant surprise. There was a small, almost tiny pool that you could dip yourself into and a massage corner as well. After your dip, you could head to the His/Her steam rooms.

Overall, I think I got good value for my money!

Room Tip: No lifts so ask for a room on the lower floor if you don't like to climb stairs.

This hotel is fantastic for the price... Some on here are saying its good for a short stay only.. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now - stays between 7 - 14 days...
This hotel suits those who are going to Phuket to get out an experience what its all about..
If you are looking for a hotel where you can shower, sleep, have breakie, maybe a cocktail or two in the arvo and a quick dip to cool off - this is for you!
Its not a hotel for those who wants to spend several days in hotel room overseas...
This hotel is suited to those who will be out most of the day sightseeing, beaching, shopping etc and then come back to change before heading out for dinner, drinks, more shopping etc.. and then come back to sleep before doing it all over again the next day!

The ally to which the side of the hotel backs on to has some great hair salons for the girls to get their hair washed each day, also some great massages and beauty treatments...
Walk down the ally (away from the beach) and within 3 minutes you are at O-Top Markets..
You are directly across the road from the beach and a short walk from Bangla...

The staff are always more than happy to assist you in any and every way possible...

This hotel suits single travellers, young couples who are there for a fun adventurous time and groups of fun makers who intend on being out and about most days!!!

Excellent location with burger king beside the hotel and patong beach just few minutes walk away but amenities in the room is poor. The water flow in the toilet is weak and temperature of water is unstable. It can get real hot even the slightest adjustment. Tiny cockroaches found in toilet and area around the bath tub seem like it had not been scrubbed clean for a long time. The Tv reception was bad and blow dryer was spoiled. The staff's service was pretty okay but would need couple of reminders.

NO LIFT!!

I will opt for other hotels such as holiday inn or Baan Lai Mai if i'm going again.

The small pool was lovely and the staff were very friendly in all areas of the hotel but particular things let the hotel down. 1) the room didn't have a window so it was very hard to get over jet lag and this wasn't mentioned at all during the booking process, 2) if you arrived at breakfast slightly later (09.30) there wasn't much choice and what was there was cold and 3) there seemed to be a conflict between serving additional paying customers to hotel residents with the additional paying customers getting more attention. If you want somewhere for one or two days this might be the hotel for you.

Room Tip: Ask if there is a proper window with daylight!!!

It was my first visit to Phuket with my wife. The hotel is cheap budget hotel. I booked 4D3N package deal via Asiawebdirect. I got pretty good deal from there.
The room is OK with basic amenities, clean room and free internet.
Staff service is average not bad like what I have read about many hotels of Phuket.
Breakfast is good for budget hotel.
There is no lift so people with trouble can ask for rooms at first floor.
Location is good in all respect. Access to varieties of food restaurant within 300m. Burger King is just beside, while McDonald is at 300m. Nightlife attraction at Bangla road is nearby.
Hotel do have spa at the top floor, but need to book the time slot beforehand.
You will get excited to jump to the sea as the beach is at jumping distance, just kidding its 20 ft from the breakfast corner of the hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms towards beach side at the third floor will get beautiful sunset every evening.

If you are really tight on your budget than this is a ok place to stay. Small 4 storey hotel, staff are friendly and room was clean. The toilets smelt a bit bad, guess not much ventilation. The temperature of the hot water comes and goes and when u turn on the sink's tap it splashes water easily. Aircon was also very cold and felt uncomfortable to sleep. If you love having your room cold than it should be ok. Found the staff friendly and breakfast was also acceptable. You can have a drink on the upper floor facing the beachfront...beautiful. I could get free wifi only in the main lobby. Easy to catch a cab anywhere but its worth taking a 15 minute walk to a big Shopping mall 'JungCeylon' which has a movie theatre, suprmarket, shops and plenty of restaurants. Show your boarding pass at the Tourist Information to get a nice straw hat which u can use in their hot weather.

Room Tip: Only some rooms have windows. Upper floors are a bit quieter but no lifts in this small hotel. We h...
