As these reviews clearly state, this hotel is right on the gay strip and if you are confronted by gays or the "bar boy" culture, then stay elsewhere. Otherwise the hotel is like having a front row seat in a theatre. The street at the front is a constant flow of katoey, drag queens and lots of others. The shows seem to explode out of the bars and onto the street and sitting in the open restaurant is non stop entertainment.
The rooms are basic, but they are clean and probably as good as you could expect at this price. The restaurant does very nice food and is also very cheap.
The hotel advertises itself as "straight friendly" and proved it on this visit as I was joined by my sister. She was as well looked after as anybody and had a great time being photographed with the show girls and the bar boys.
The stand out positive for the hotel though were the staff. Always smiling, helpful with questions or services at all times, and will go out of their way to help with any problems you may have.
Internet access in the rooms is a great asset at this price as well.
There are better hotels around at higher prices, but few of them would be this much fun.
