Being a fan of Belgian beer cafe and loving the ones in Dubai i was happy to find this little bit of familiarity in Phuket. My friend and Itravelled to the other side of the island to enjoy some mussels and a beer. The BB cafe occupies a large space within Graceland Phuket, and in low season we were lucky it was not very busy, with only 3 other tables being catered to. We ordered Classic Mussels with a Hoegarden and White Wine mussels and a cider. The mussels arrived with over 60% of the shells empty once separated (see pictures) the measly contents of the dish were very sad, and with hardly any sauce. Both the classic and white wine sauces tasted nothing like they should, but more like dirty dish water..
Then when the bill came, it was noted that the menu includes the VAT in the dish price, yet they charge it again on the bill. Not Cool but i guess this may be what we can expect from a bar in Patong.
The price for thailand was silly high, (see picture) we discovered a michelin star chef serving amazing 9 course brunch for the same price at Breeze resto.
