The family and I spent 10 days at the holiday Inn Resort Phuket,Patong Thailand in 2007 The boys were 13,10 & 3 at the time and throughly enjoyed it. The family room was excellent with a themed room with a t.v and playstation.The kids club was wonderful for the little one(with a babysitter) and there was even a games room with computers and games. The swimming pools were fantastic with a few different types of pool, every one was happy.
The main pool is lovely to sit around and order a drink and food, I just loved their mixed satay.There's a rather peaceful bar and first class steak place. The buffet breakfast is probably the best I've eaten, plenty of variey with a lovely view of the pool. The location is good, especially if you don't want to be right in the middle of everything. Great resort actually stayed there twice and would definatly stay again.

Very good location indeed right in the hustle bustle of Patong. If u r looking for night life proximity to the restaurants this is the place to be. A bit too noisy for me other wise a good hotel. Good breakfast selection. Nice for kids .

Spent 5 Nights in this lovely Resort. Traveled with my wife & two Kids ages 5 & 10. We choose the Twin Superior in the Main Wing which was adequately large to accommodate us.
Great Location, Great Hotel...Could not fault it in any of the Departments. Recommended for all ages though Kids have an edge, activities for kids at the Kids club is practically endless

We arrived at the Holiday Inn for the second stay of our honeymoon after 3 days in Bangkok. We had taken a 1pm flight from BKK to didn't get to the hotel until about 4pm and wish we had taken an earlier flight in hindsight.

We checked in and were instantly upgraded to a beachview room as it was our honeymoon, they came back later and decorated our bed for us! We had a balcony with two sunbeds on it and were told our mini bar had unlimited re-fills and if there was anything in particular we wanted to just call and they'd stock it up, excellent!

We decided that night to eat in the steak restaurant due to the reviews on here and we were not disappointed, it was superb and not a bad price either!

The pool was great, some of the kids are a bit hectic and listening to their parents scream at them was not wonderful but we didn't mind too much, we finally discovered the Busakorn Wing pool on the last day and wished we had gone sooner away from the noise! The one thing that amazed me, was that despite how crazy Patong beach is, about 20 steps away, you don't hear it at all by the pool!

The food and drinks service by the pool was superb, breakfast would be my only downfall only that there was not much variety, and if you didnt want fried food there was not much else on offer. I guess we had been spoilt by the amazing buffet at the Hilton in Bangkok.

Overall we loved this hotel, the staff were so friendly, we also were given free internet access which was great to email back home and see all our wedding photos people were emailing us, we loved this hotel and Phuket was our favourite resort of our holiday. We only stayed 4 nights and did 7 in Koh Samui which was so quiet things were closing early, we wished we had stayed in Phuket for longer.

You won't regret a stay at the Holiday inn!
