“A tranquil haven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

Phenominal value and great location.
Superb value hotel especially with the room upgrade and the inclusive airport transfer. Excellent buffet breasfast, quality furnishings and freindly attentive staff. Ideally situated for both the beach and town. Very quiet, despite central location.
A minor problem with the shower was quickly resolved by room transfer. No noise or disruption from refurbishment work - wouldn't have known it was taking place.
Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

This is the 6th hotel we stayed at on our holiday in the Far East and the only one where the reception staff were surly, unhelpful and not welcoming.
After checking us in the receptionist demanded a deposit of 3,000 baht in cash. No discussion: it's their condition! She then left us without a word. After waiting for about half an hour - we were given a fruit juice - no bell boy came to take us to our room. We thought they were too busy and waited politely. When I eventually went to ask what was the problem, the receptionist tried to fob me off with various excuses at first. In the end she admitted something to the effect that they were 'removing something from our room'. This was after 4pm.
The impression we got was that this is such a big and busy hotel with guests arriving and leaving all the time that the staff no longer bother to show any courtesy to their customers. Another thing that worried us was the different entrances to the hotel with people coming and going all over the place. Security must be of concern.
When we eventually got into our room we found the bathroom floor still wet. We soon realised that the decorators were still working there when we had arrived and the emulsion or first coat paint on the door frame was barely dry. The wall had white powdery dust which came off our hands and clothes.
Throughout our 3-day stay the room next to ours was noisy with builders working in it. To its credit, the minibar stocked with water, soft drinks and beer was free. Breakfast - western and Asian - offered a wide choice of dishes but the restaurant was quite crowded.

Room Tip: Don't have a pool side room, no privacy from swimmers and users of the pool . Mosquitoes another...

We had 3 adults staying in a room on the 3rd floor (top floor). There was ample space for the 3 of us to put our bags and not be too much in each others way. We were a little walk away from the one lift, but were right next to a stair case. The room was bright and clean, the free mini bar was handy after being out all day. It would have been great if we had a 3rd chair on the balcony. The wifi signal is strong and is pretty fast too.

There is a 711 just downstairs and the location is brilliant - about 100m or so from the beach. The 2 pools are not huge, but just what you need if you don't want to go to the beach. It is about 15min walk from Jungceylon, the big shopping centre. We liked it was a little away from the madness of Bangla. Happy hour in the evenings is great with 1 for 1 drinks.

The noodles at breakfast are great! There is a good variety of food, you won't go hungry!

Room Tip: The day beds looked great! Perhaps try to get a room with one on the balcony.

This a great Resort with perfect location and walking distance from the beach. The Pool is excellent and Pool Bar is awesome. Check in was excellent. But I was disappointed to see the room in the old wing which was small and creepy. I had to upgrade my room in the new wing as the similar category rooms were not available in the new wing. Apart from this the entire stay was very comfortable and amazing.

Room Tip: Stay in the new wing rooms and confirm the same before booking.

The Burasari is beautifully designed internally with lots of exotic plants, trees and water features and promotes a feeling of peace and relaxation. Had to realise that just a few metres down the road is Patong beach and all the hub-bub that goes with it. Staff were excellent & friendly with good command of English. Breakfast was great with wide choice. We had Elite room on 1st floor - lovely room and balcony however our view was over the restaurant area which was not brilliant. One down side of the hotel, whilst the pool areas were attractively laid out there was very limited sitting area and were not really child friendly.

Room Tip: Go for a pool view room on upper floor

Stayed here for 5 nights. Very beautiful hotel, great location. The rooms aren't anything special but the rest of the resort makes up for it. Awesome tropical pool layout, free wifi, and free breakfast brunch which was very good. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay in a beautiful resort. It is a quiet little jewel away from the madness of Patong, yet set right in the heart. The upstairs room overlooking the pool gave lovely views yet provided privacy. The pool, breakfast and room were wonderful. I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff, nothing was too much trouble. This resort suits couples or groups, but not families as the pool is small and intimate and there is no child care centre... BUT for us as an older couple, this isthe reason we chose the hotel. We will definitely go back here next time in Patong.

Room Tip: Lower rooms with pool access are lovely, but lack privacy. 2nd floor give same views but nobody look...
