After researching Hotels in Patong, Due to the fact the Holiday Inn Busakorn is being renovated, we booked into the novotel based on price and reviews. I will say that i got the rooms for $60 AUD per night on the Accor super sale in February however i wanted to give my review to those who have to pay full rate. Make sure you like walking up steep hills. Staying in the last block of rooms at the top of the hill was a bit exhausting and the shuttles did not offer to bring us up at all. Also expect the tuk tuk drivers to charge extra to bring you up to reception on the mid level - something strange going on there with the security guards. When booking a camry to take us down to patong for 200bht at the tour desk, the female attendant then put us on the hotel shuttle and it was not until i asked the other tourists on the bus if they had paid, which they had not, that i had to ask for a refund which she was not keen on giving back The swimming pool looks lovely in the photos, and to be honest was lovely, however the tiles are breaking off around the edges of the middle and top pools. The Rooms themselves are a hike to get to, there are no lifts just stairs. The guest services book says they were all renovated in 2007 which i find very hard to believe. Whilst the rooms are not offensive and have lovely views, they are not clean and were serviced very poorly. The drinking glasses were wiped out with a dirty cloth, the towels are practically threadbare and there was mould in the bathroom. The drinking water was not replaced on 2 days we stayed and in room fumigation was done without notice to the guests.There is also no free WIFI, it is 450bht for a 24 hour period. I think the Accor group would be upset by the state of this hotel. it does not meet the standards of their Australian hotels which i stay in regularly.

The buffet breackfast was excelent.
The pool was perfect views and wonderful. We was very enioyed. We loved NOVOTEL.
Staff was very kind,friendly and helpful.without front staff We asked for island trip.someone recomment and booked another tour cheaper for us from outside but is not nice and not safety I was unhappy'next time we booking with hotel desk(be better)Spa was excellent and gentleness.
Staff at the restaurant very fantastic Aways smile and can remember our room number.
We planning another trip for this hotel again.

What a great hotel!

When we arrive, they offered us refreshing juice and fresh towel. Staff are very freindly and accomodating.

Location - it's on the far end of Patong beach, located almost in the mountain top that gives amazing view of the whole island. Superb facilities such as pools and restuarant.

Room - interior design are very much Thai, really love it! bathroom are big and nice too.
Spa - they have very well-trained staff and of course, the ambiance is very peacefull. This is one thing that shouldn't be miss when staying here.

It's such a great-great place to stay, very relaxing.

It was worth the transfer from Novotel Panwa, Phuket to Novotel Patong Beach...
Its about a 5minute drive to Bangla Road, and their shopping mall... 30min walk or so...

We would bargain with the Tuk tuk drive outside the hotel to take us for about 150baht...

The hotel does offer a free shuttle down to Patong Beach, twice a day 11am and 2.45pm...

This hotel was great the staff were lovely and location was great.. not to far from everything, and quiet enough to get a good nights sleep...

We had no problems at all at this hotel...

This hotel has a three tiered pool... which is really nice and relaxing...
