Very nice location and ambience. Walking distance to the beach and shuttle service to the town center.
Rooms are a bit untidy and food not good. We all had bad gastroenteritis through out the stay.
Need to take care of the infection control.

Room Tip: Ask sea facing

we are currently staying at the hotel. they advised when checking in that the pools are under repair but did not advise that some blocks of units are being renovated. this meant that we have jackhammering during the day and need to walk an extra 100 stairs to get to the pool area.

I understand that hotels need to be updated but its a bit rude to not be told of the issue when booking the room.

I stayed in last week of August with my family on a vacation, It was bad decision.
This is worst to place to stay in Patong. Very nicely located just at the beginning of phuket beach with nice view and good property. Very poorly managed. The breakfast is awful with scratches on all cutlery. The house keeping and room service is the worst. I can share an incident , i checked in the hotel at around 3 pm, there were used and leftover lying outside the room of the patron and i came back around 11 pm after dinner still they were there. I had to call duty manager to remove the same. The staff is very slow and the hotel is also old. Badly needs renovation. The toilets in lobby are worst unclean anytime you go. You can better property around the same vicinity. The hotel has lackadaisical attitude and they don't care for guests it spoilt our very wonderful holiday. I will strictly not recommend this place not to even to my enemy.

Room Tip: Ask for Sea facing and that too newly renovated block.

Awful service.
We fell sick on the 2nd day of our stay and they dont even have a first aid kit for their guests! Two travellers who were too sick to move and were told go to down the hill to purchase medication..

Angry service 2
We needed to call our local travel agent as the airport transport was running late and we had a flight o catch. I seeked assistance from the staff, janya and was told i had to pay per min charges! What is this!!!!
After we used our personal mobiles to make the call (mind u, we had to pay overseas charges), another colleague came over to inform us the same infomration which we got through our mobile. Infuriating!

Alright service:
They did send a small basket of fruits as a get well gift for us.

Room:
Rooms were ok.

Location:

Quiet and good. Far from the main buzz and hype!

With Amazing Rooms, Perfect Location, Good Service, Novotel Phuket is one of the best Beach Resorts that I have stayed at. The Rooms are comfortable, well-appointed & well-designed. They have the best of amenities including a Plasma TV, Coffee Tea Maker, Refrigerator, Mini Bar & Wifi with large Bathrooms & a Balcony.

The biggest issue is getting in & around the property. Its quite large & if your room is away from the reception or restaurants, its either a long walk or a long wait for the shuttle to come & pick you up. That was our biggest regret.

The breakfast spread was good. They have a lotta activities that go on the whole day. Great for people traveling with Kids. The Swimming Pool is also amazing.

Overall, the property is really good & I would definitely return.

Room Tip: Opt for Rooms closer to the Reception (so that you don't have to walk) or closer to the main gat...

In the reviews we all felt that the beach was right there but when younget there you realized that thw hotel is a steep hill and tihe beach is at the bottom of the hill and you have to cross a road and there is lots of traffic. I was there with two small children and we never get to touvh the sand of the beach for these reason. They do have nice swimming pools overlooking the beach an ok buffet restaurant with good variety, they have a mexican day, and a grill day etc.
We took a couple of the tours to crystal beach and ro some other beach, they were the typical tour were they drive you for so long they they put you in a crowded boat to arrive in a crowded beautiful beach. The good one was a tour to ride some elephants. Not sure if i ever come back to phuket i felt it is more he fame than the real thing.

Room Tip: Get cash in the airport
