“Loved our stay hear!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013 via mobile

We stayed at Narry for 8 days and loved it! We had the room at a cheap price but it was very clean, big and modern! We had fresh bottled water in our room every morning with clean towels. The air con was a life saver as the temperatures are so high. The location is amazing, right on Patong beach! I would definitely recomend this hotel as it was perfect for us! Couldnt of asked for more. Thank you

I stayed at this hotel from the dates of 5/11/12 - 21/11/12, the location of the hotel was great and within about 1/2 mile from the main nightlife of Bangla road, the hotel was quiet, welcoming and not over crowded. Staff were friendly although sometimes were not always on the ball, for example on asking for an ironing board I called down to reception and just received the words of "Sorry Sir Cannot".

That aside I was greeted with a smile and good morning upon heading down to the dining facility which was great although food selection was a bit limited, not really fussy so did not bother me overly much, Next door to the hotel Is a great tour operator called Jimmy Elizabeth Andaman tour which I would highly recommend :).

Overall This hotel suited my needs and would return again, I would rate it 8 out of 10.

me and my 2 other friends stayed at the hotel for 5 days. its was a good place as its easy to get halal food , near to the shops, bar and massage parlor.the beach is just across the road .the room and toilets are spacious and clean.every single night we can hear the fireworks and u can see it while u chill at the small balcony.downside is probably the wifi. some random time i can get the connection but its poor or fair.the breakfast was so-so. overall, this hotel is much2 better then most budget hotels.

Room Tip: try to get "smoke rooms" because u will be given the one with a little balcony which u can...

My friends and I booked this hotel for two nights while we were in Patong. First impressions were very good, our room was huge and seemed very clean. But when we tried to ask one of the staff for the wifi password, he could not speak any English and wasn't able to tell us. By the time we all went to bed (three separate beds) we started to feel a bit itchy. All three of the beds were contaminated with bed bugs. It was disgusting. We all woke up at 3 am with crazy itchiness and so we decided to go down to the concierge to complain and ask for a new room. The night staff spoke very little English and told us we were not able to get a new room. He offered to provide new bed linen but could not get his head around the fact that the bed bugs were in the mattress, not the sheets. In the end we showered, changed our clothes and slept on a clean bed sheet on the floor with a towel as our pillow. Needless to say none of us got much sleep for the rest of the night. In the morning we went back down to the concierge and asked for our money back for both nights because we weren't going to stick around for another night of torture. We were referred to the hotel manager who called us liars and continued to change his story about why we weren't allowed our money back because of some policy that he refused to show us because it was 'top secret' (his words). He was rude and disrespectful and at some stages he was screaming in our faces. I have never come across such an unhospitable hotel in my life. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you enjoy being treated like crap, eaten alive by bed bugs, labelled a liar and cheated of your money.

Got the narry for $47 AU a night, bargain! On first impression it was pretty good for this price.. we got a huge room and a little balcony looking into soi wattana so that was good.

Positives-
- nothing in the bar fridge but 2 free bottles of water
- great sized room and bathroom
- 2 min walk down the soi to the beach
- the narry sports bar downstairs has a 10 hr happy hair from 12-10pm...2 beers for 90 baht! Really good!
- the meals down stairs are also very well priced...had one of the best fettucine carbonaras ever
- pool table and free darts and cards at narry sports bar
- the soi is a nice one..a few vendors and an annoying suit guy but other than that there is 2 massage places and a fair few restaurants!

Negatives-
- the door to the room was hollow and you could hear absolutely every person walking up the stairs and every conversation!
- the room service was not full service ..made the bed, new towels and emptied the bin
- the buffet breakfast is prettttty bad...no bacon or egg station only scrambled eggs every morning and ham in hot water and mini croisants...the best thing about it was the hasbrowns but they only appeared twice out of 7 mornings
- I said the narry sports bar has cheap drinks but it is really really slow service! We thought it was a one off thing when our burger, pasta, and spring rolls took an hour (only ones in the restaurant) but one time we ordered just a nan bread (only ones in restaurant again) and it took just under half an hour...there was at least 2 chefs in the kitchen too!...weird
- no WiFi in rooms only the lobby
- only 1 single chair in our huge room! (On the second last night a black futon appeared though which was so good to be able to sit down in front of the telly)
- only get 2 pillows on the bed with no spares in the cupboard and the bed is hard to sleep on
- no room service

The stuff knows english at a good level, except the night shift. The good thing is that you have towels when you are going at the beach from the reception. Also umbrellas are available without any fee. Is very close to the beach and the street is quiet. In high season the only inconvenience is that you will hear music from the terraces around till 12 - 1 a.m. Overall is a very great deal at this price for location, quality and space. Book a deluxe room. You will have balcony and more space.

Room Tip: Book a deluxe room for more space and balcony

if you are in phuket for anything other than honeymoon, then it's advisable to stay near Patong beach. This hotel provides just that. 200 meters from the beach. Apart from location, other aspects of this place is average or below. No commendable room service, no view out of window ( open the curtains, you stare at another wall !).

Breakfast is normal.

Bottom line: You are sure to find better options on the road. Stay here for a day and hunt for another place.

Room Tip: The Wifi at Lobby is accessible from selective few rooms.. Check it out before taking a room :)
