“Lessoned learned, with cheap price comes poor value”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

My wife booked this last because it was rated well on tripadvisor, well think again because this is not a place run by two sweet hearts but rather adorable family. But as all family do they need are a handful on their own, this is not a well looked after property. Found stains on the bed sheet and smells from the pipes. The location is far away from the beach, we are use to staying in place 3 minutes walkable distance from the beach as suppose to 15 minutes to the beach like this one. All in all a horrible idea a horrible hotel to be booked in booking.com

This was the worst place we stayed at in Thailand. The rooms were fine and clean-ish (though don’t look under the bed) and it was only about 15 minutes walk to the beach, but it was really let down by the service and the attitude of the guy who runs the place.

Breakfast was only available if his wife was around to cook it, but at 8am (peak breakfast time in a hotel) she was taking their child to school, so we nearly went on a day trip on an empty stomach had we not suggested he at least made some toast for us.

There was a safe at reception, but you could only access your things between 5pm and 10pm.

Whenever we needed a taxi, we had to go out and find our own, as the hotel said they couldn’t get one for us.

The wifi only worked intermittently.

When I asked for a new towel one morning, he said he couldn’t give me one until 10am when the cleaner arrived.

There was no soap in the room, and when I asked for some he managed to find me a half-full mini bottle of hair conditioner.

Although this was not the fault of the manager, the night receptionist decided to leave her job in the middle of a shift, so one night my friend waited 40 minutes before going behind the desk and helping himself to his own key, which raised questions about security.

When it came to paying the bill, he wouldn’t break down the cost for the extras, such as breakfast, drinks in the room etc., though he did tell us that breakfast was $15, not $8 as it says on booking .com – only the “continental” breakfast was $8, which consisted of two slices of toast and coffee - and on the day we had had four slices of toast each because his wife wasn’t there to cook, he had charged us $16 each for a double breakfast.

The credit card machine didn’t work when we wanted to check out, which meant we had to rush out to an ATM while our taxi was waiting to take us to the airport. He was totally unapologetic about this and told us we shouldn’t have left it to the last minute, even though he had given us no warning that the machine wasn’t working.

This hotel has the potential to be good, but at the moment they don’t seem to consider the needs of the guests at all.

We accidentally stumbled across this gem as our hotel was over booked, we couldn't have been more happier! We were only meant to stay 1 night we stayed 3! The rooms are spacious, clean, bed was very comfortable, the pool was nice area, it's got a bar, it serves food (the carbonara is to die for) freshly cooked by an Italian chef, the service is outstanding we felt welcome and chatted to the owner when we wanted too, he helped us book a transfer to airport and also phoned the excursion company for us when they were late, they play brilliant house music by the pool all day not too loud just gives the place a good vibe, we will defo be returning the location is close enough to walk to patong high street but far away enough to feel like a holiday, you can walk to the beach as well.
Thank you for a great stay :)

Looking for a real pasta ?? I have been yesterday to test the new Italian chef Andrea and I have had the best bolognese pasta ever ! Very very nice location and the quality is very good compared with the very reasonable price.
strongly recommended !

My stay at Peter pan has always been a memorable one !! starting from it's location which is so central yet away from the noise hustle bustle of patong beach ! Peaceful serene tranquil stay with an inviting pool side !! This well done art deco boutique syle resort nestles in lush green area in phuket's most popular number one beach zone! My last stay in febuary. 2012 has been just awesome and the Italian owner there , who is always there with a helping at rest bar area and taking care of every basic need from giving u sound advice about tours around the island to playing a dj ;) with just amazin liking house to chill out tracks music, while u relax the day by the poolside ! All in all it's clean reasonable living with total security and comfort at Peter pan resort !! A MUST stay for single to family :))))))))

Room Tip: All rooms face the pool and garden area :))))))))

I have been to this resort twice, and have always found the same friendliness and hospitality. I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and professionalism of the staff, to use a word I would say excellent.
