We were amazed from this hotel!!!
The room was great, clean and very nicely decorated!
The staff were very very nice, with very good English!!! (not so trivial in Thailnad)
The free internet and computers at the lobby (don't have a laptop so I don't know how is the wifi) were great for us.
The location is very good if you don't mind walking 3 minutes to get to Patong main road.
In total, we paid a funny price, lower than hostel, and got a very good hotel!

This is a very nice hotel with large clean rooms and comfortable beds at affordable prices. The staff is really nice and will make their utmost to make you feel at home. Ask for Jackie, he is super nice and will help you with whatever you need. The hotel has recently expanded and should have an elevator and more rooms.

Wlking distances: < 5 min to Jungceylon shoping center < 5 min to hospital < 5 min to Bangla boxing stadium about 15 min to beach and bars (walking street)

Travel tip : Jungceylon shoping center - here you can find almost anything. Bangla boxing stadium - if you are in to muay thai. Walking street (bangla road) if party is on your mind. All within walking distance, just take a left on the main road and you should find Jungceylon and the boxing stadium. The road just before Bangla Boxing stadium will take you to the beach and bars. If you need a hospital just take a right on the main road and you'll be there in no time.

Spent 1 week on holiday in the fundee very good time would advise anyone looking for a cheap stay near to everything dont look past the fundee hotel

If you're looking for a place to stay in Patong which is close to the party district (Bangla road) but still in walking distance to the beach, we can definitely recommend a stay at Fundee Boutique Hotel.

Our room was as described, very clean and equipped with relatively new furniture (the hotel itself was only about half a year old by the time of writing this review, we were told).

The aspect about this place we appreciated most is the extremely helpful and friendly staff. They always offered useful and honest advice when we had questions. And whenever the weather is not quite nice and you need to have some time killed, you can always have a nice chat with the staff in the lounge-like lobby. We really appreciated the relaxed, familiar atmosphere in the hotel.

The only downside we experienced during our stay is that a lot of construction work was going on in the neighbourhood (maybe this was because we came in low season though) and the main road is a bit noisy sometimes, which was a bit disturbing when trying to recover from a proper hangover till 3pm. However, the way more important downside is that the cute, perfectly English-speaking girl at the recepion has got a boyfriend already. Too bad ;)
