“Great food; great service and great price!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013 via mobile

This was awesome Thai food - and the servers were happy and treated us like we were frequent customers. This has authentic Thai food and is very reasonably priced - dinner for four with many dishes and drinks, less than 50.00 cdn dollars! The pad Thai was amazing as was the mixed glass noodle salad!

“Sure, it has some good dishes. But good enough to queue ?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

No, not that good that I would wait in a queue like I saw countless (obviously TA influenced) people doing. Don't get me wrong, many of the dishes here are our favourites, like the green or red chicken curries. But other dishes are only average, and some even less so (the fish dish I had).
If you stick to your favourites you will always be satisfied as they are consistently good. But don't queue ! Pop over to S&G immediately across the lane, or Wai Thai down the road, or any number of other perfectly acceptable eateries in Patong. It's not the only good, cheap place to eat.

“Best in Patong”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

Without doubt, best tasting, best value restaurant on Patong. Cold eat here every day. A must go to especially for price, pad Thai 90 thai baht, $3 Australian dollars, simply perfect

“Pretty good fare”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

I am not sure if this place lives up to all the hype but the food was quite nice and the prices reasonable (not low like others have claimed). I had a watermelon shake (more expensive than other places but quite nice), the mixed satays and the green curry. The peanut sauce was good, smooth rather than the crunchy I prefer but a good flavour and green curry was tasty but definitely not the best I have had.

“There ARE good good in PaTong”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

It is hard to pick a spot in Patong, the tourist-packed street, as everyone experienced. Sabai Sabai is not a place for special occasion but definitely makes me feel home. No fancy presentation but almost all food we ordered surpassed our expectation (in a group of 6) - The spicy salad, home-made spring-roll, ginger-chicken, vegetable fried rice, satay.... except the Onion Soup but GREAT value for money (US$12 per head for dinner).
