“Nice view - Out of Town”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

If you're looking for an expensive resort out of town then here it is...! Away from the night life, everything is expensive. This is not a 'Lady' friendly place. Even though I originally booked and payed payed for a TWIN SHARE room, i had to fork out 1500BHT just to bring back an un-registred guest. NOW THAT'S OUTRAGEOUS. Even so, the bar staff were fantastic and i had a great time with them at both swimming pools (Lobby Pool and Fitness Pool) In fact, all the staff were awesome but I would not stay here again as everything is so expensive and next time i will stay at a girl friendly resort of which there are plenty closer to the beach..!!!

Despite the location - near Patong, nowhere near the sea, limited views - Sea Pearl Villas manages to be an alright place to stay.
The resort is set on a hill overlooking the town (not that anyone would want to look at Patong) and made up of hundreds of identically sized units around shared pools.
With terrace jacuzzis and good sized rooms, apartments are spacious and well kept - if not a little utilitarian.
The wifi is free and has good range and can be used by the pool if you are here on business.
The central resort facilities are a bit sad and breakfast was pretty rubbish but you don't stay here for a romantic getaway or gastornomic retreat.
If you need a functional place to stay, you will have no complaints.

I had heard good things about the Sea Pearl Villas, and I was not disappointed. On arrival, the staff were very accommodating and when I wanted to move rooms - I had myself chosen a room that had a beautiful view but was a little far from the pool - the staff kindly moved me to a nicer room near the pool immediately! The rooms were clean, tasteful, well-laid out and spacious - everything I could have asked for. They also seemed to be able to keep mosquitos away, which was a real relief for me.

Throughout the stay the staff were friendly and courteous - admittedly, some did not have perfect English but none had any trouble communicating clearly and confidently and dealing with my requests.

The location was great to do all the local sights and beaches, and the staff also were happy to recommend other activities (island trips, bungee jumping) - all were great recommendations. It's not quite down in the thick of Patong but that is actually a good thing as far as i am concerned, and its easily close enough for a night out!

The buffet breakfast was good, with a decent range, and though not quite on par with buffets in major metropolitan centres more than made up for this in service and friendliness.

Didn't get to use the spa but will try to next time!

All in all, a brilliant trip, a great hotel, and a lovely experience overall.

Unreal - refused to let us switch rooms, refused to let us check out - manager was extremely rude - while the place is pretty nice - if you run into any snags ...they will make you wish you stayed someplace else..

I had the pleasure of staying at Sea Pearl Villas for 10 nights. The hotel is perfectly located away from all the noise of Patong. It has all the facilities you could ask for and more. The staff were very kind and helped whenever you needed it. The free shuttle bus was very handy to and from Patong. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Staff at the pool bar were heaps of fun, spent many nights there!

Room Tip: Ask for one with a view. I was located in D wing on the top level, great views over Patong with only...

The resort has good rooms with private Jacuzzi and pools. The one-bed room is larger than many apartments in many large cities. The resort is well located away from the busy streets of Patong beach but not very far!!!

The service is patchy although the staff are polite & helpful. The Breakfast is OK with no outstanding features.

The hotel was however NOT prepared for holding business conferences. The meeting rooms were OK but quality of AV equipment was very poor, The internet connection almost non-existent.

The front office staff were confused about handling the large group and I would not recommend for a large group or conference.

Room Tip: Block L is at one end of this resort with great views of the bay.

This place is situated on the outskirts of the city, in peaceful and serene location. The service and experience is awesome. The place though doesn't offer much options for pure vegetarians. The hotel too had vegetarian dishes cooked in sea food stock, which was the only problem I faced. Nonetheless they were cooperative enough to let me enter their kitchen and tell them what to cook as per the requirements. Super liked this place. The buffet menu too had great options to choose from everyday.

The spa facility is nothing less than amazing too..want to be there again.. :)
