Located at the Bangla road, this is one pub that you should visit if you like your guiness beer and and a lovely energetic and vibrant local band. I could not move my self out of the place. The ambience keeps you going and you just don't want to leave.

FoodReally good pub on Bangla Road Phuket. Draught beers (including Guiness &Kilkenny) by the pint. Good food but absolutely awful resident band, you struggle to understand them talking never mind singing. Advice to owners GET A NEW BAND!

First meal on our second trip back and a really good find. Went in about 10pm at night and really good value meals. Had the best Pad Thai, spicy enough without being too hot. All of our party had good meals and really enjoyed our time there. The atmosphere is good with a band playing and a nice escape from the bustle of Bangla Rd.

I must admit, Scruffy Murphy's is a true gem in Phuket either for meal or mingling with crowds while enjoying the football matches on TV or the sublime live band. The food is mouth watering, the ambiance exuding from this bar is very lively and intoxicating, i felt i can't leave early whenever i stepped my feet inside, the atmosphere is impeccable.
2 thumbs up for the live band performance, especially when they played the Irish Folklore music, it's fantastically put the crowds into delirium, you can also request your songs!

I found myself at Scruffys for Christmas this year. Living in Asia I haven't had a roast dinner in 10 months, so this meal was highly anticipated. I ordered pork and it did not disappoint.
The cover band playing that night were also excellent.
