“Beautiful, Modern & New”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2011

Stayed 4 nights in this hotel. Overall feel is good from the moment we step into the open air lobby. Hotel feels nice & chic, very boutique hotel like. Hotel's mascot seems to be the cute sea turtle which can be seen all over the compound. :)
Check in was a breeze but they seems very strict with check in time which is after 2pm. We arrived at the hotel rather early at about 11am but can't check in as they claim no rooms are available. No major problem as we just checked in our bags & go for a good lunch.
Stayed in a Daydream Deluxe Room which was clean & nice with a balcony. Design is generally minimalist with a comfortable bed, flat screen TV, a free flow minibar & wi-fi. Housekeeping was a bit sloppy though, they forgot to replace new towels, etc... But nothing a phonecall can't settle.
Comes with free breakfast which the spread was rather limited & are the same daily. although they claim to be running full but it feels rather empty maybe cause most guests are out by the time i roam around.
Staffs are typically friendly & helpful for the basics.
Location wasn't that near to the beach, about 15-20 mins walk, 5 mins walk to Bangla Rd & about 10 mins to Jungceylon.
Personally i feel that this hotel is good but if you're not going to be spending much time in the room then there are lots of better & cheaper alternatives as i paid about 14800 baht for 4 nights stay & a smaller hotel next door cost half the price.
If you're taking a later flight home after check out, don't forget to request for a shower facility. They will bring you to their sister hotel next door, The Sea, open up a room for you to freshen up before your flight. Thought this is a nice gesture as can get rather sticky from the hot weather in Phuket.
Like: new & modern design, free wi-fi, shower facility after check out

My husband and me had a wonderful stayed at Nap last week (9th to 13th).
Stylish, quiet with warm and detailed mind service from The Nap.

• Quiet- located at a bit north side of Patong Beach
• 5 mins to the beach, 15 mins to Bangla St.
• Clean and good in room facilities
• Speedy and stable free WIFI service
• Good Sony Audio/Samsung LCDTV, playing our favor CD/DVD
• Free mini bar in room, refill every morning. Coke, Soda, Spirit, drinking water…..etc
• Balcony with good view to the Patong Beach (5th Floor, ask if available)
• Friendly & helpful Front Desk Staff, smooth arrangement for check in & out
• ABF, with special daily delight, tailor fresh make juice, unlimited order.
• Café 76, really nice for drink every late afternoon with the reasonable price

The only thing we would like to request ‘a mini chair’ in the guest room. Cos it is hard to kneel down when using our laptop next the TV wardrobe.

Special thank you to Khun Nuch, Front Desk Superior, she is really helpful for our stay, like the room arrangement, efficient and clear checkout. No question, no complaint!

A gentle man, Khun Chart, F&B Manager, made us a yummy seafood dinner before heading home. We liked the fish very much, thank you!

Room Tip: Higher floor if available Reserve 15 mins more while checkout, farewell drink will be offered. Good...

Book this hotel now!! I am so glad we did. The Nap offers airport transfer for 650baht in a comfy car, you can hire a taxi for 550-650baht so I recommend if ur landing at Phuket at night time to just opt for hotel transfer as it saves u the hassle.

The instant we pulled up I was gasping! Gorgeous, new hotel- thanks for the complimentary private pool access room as well. Hotel staff are amazing, always smiling & happy to help.

Buffet style Breakfast, has all the necessities - eggs, a chef making fresh omelettes on request, sausages, fruit, cereal, juices etc delicious!!

The room & hotel itself is spotless, pool is large enough to enjoy & lounge. They also have gym & spa services which I didn't have enough time to use.

Hotel location is a close walk to bangla rd & the night life but far away enough to be quiet so u can have a nice relaxing rest. Very easy to find, u can't get lost trying to find this hotel at all. I really recommend this hotel & will definetly return. If u are booking tours, go visit Michael at travel booth #6 on the main strip, he will give u a terrific deal

Quick and nice reply to my inquiries, nice minibar, and quite close to the beace (5 mins' walk). But some humidity smell in the room and a little bit wet of sheets which is boring to every night's sleep. Based on the hotel's rate, it is not good enough but only acceptable.

I had a chance to stay in The Nap around beginning of Nov 2011. The experience was quite pleasant esp our deep impression for the wonderful architecture of the hotel which I would say it is a mix of Zen and modern trend, all of the facility are new and in good condition. We stayed in Day dream Deluxe room with price around 120 usd booked thru agoda which I find it fair enough. The room was nice with balcony full view to the beautiful swimming pool though one thing we regret is that the receptionist told us that it should be sea view while it is not really. The bathroom is well equipped with basic bath stuff like bathing foam, shampoos or even conditioners and hair drier as well and weighting scale which you can’t find in all of hotels *wink wink*
Breakfast are provided with a buffet assortments of tropical fruits and juice, a mix of western and asian dishes though not that very very big offer, we find it is just right and moderate enough. Wifi is free everywhere inside the premise and the hotel location is only some steps away from Patong beach esp around 15 mins away by walking to the most lively road in Phuket that is Bangla road. Also from the hotel you can rent a motorbike and only 10 mins drive you can reach the amazingly busy and big mall named Jungcelon. Also you can enjoy the mini bar in front at lobby area with cosy and warm atmosphere while chit chatting around in nice music (they even have live music from around 8pm every day, I’m not quite sure about the time but u can check it out with the staff). Oh and on top of that don’t forget to check out the spa inside of the hotel named Nam, their Swedish relaxation therapy was thus far one of the greatest massage we have experienced. There is also an in-house travel agent who proved very useful when we asked for elephant riding tour or even airport transfer could be arranged in no time as well.
All in all, I would give 8 out of 10 points for the Nap for the lack of sea view rooms and its fact of a bit too quiet in one of the most hustling bustling party places like Phuket but will still recommend it to my friends in most cases. Enjoy the sea breeze!!! ;)

The Nap has to be one of the better hotels i have stayed in. Very modern and trendy. The room was great, very spacious with very nice bathroom. We had a small problem with the power going out in the room one night but was fixed very quickly once informed of the problem. Great location very close to everything but far enough away to not hear any noise at night. The bar at the front was great offering a very cheap cocktails. We booked a half day Khai island tour which i would highly recommend and golf game at Laguna with the hotel which all went to plan without problems. But the best thing about the hotel is the little extras included. Free Wifi, mini bar (water/soft drink/juice), goodbye drink, fruit platter and breakfast which is great when alot of other hotels have many extras not included in the price. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in Phuket.
