First impression -looking very old and shabby compared with the pictures on hotel sites. Exclusively dirty garden furniture! Can not describe! But they were quick to replace for the new ones at the first request. Could move in the room only after the 3d attempt, the first room was adjacent to a janatorial store -nobody had a thought to cover mops and cloths even at least with any kind of curtain or blind - so it was not a good idea to spend your holidays smeling dirty janatorial gear. Second room was much better (but we discovered that it was a very smart trick and a kind of a revenge- if you did not like the first - here is for you even worse - we realised it on the first nite when we were waken up with unbeleivable roaring sounds, I was close to a heart attack- looked out of the inside window which was thoughtfully blinded up when we were moving in - what a surprise for us was! It was a maintenance section with water pumps which they start at nite time about 2 am (Room 119). After I said I was moving out - they gave us a really good newly refurbished room wiht a new conditioner. But they put so much chlorine in water that when I washed the hair dyied by the most expensive stylist in Patong - the color just run off it! You could not smell that clorine - you could eat it!!!
Cleaning in the rooms was perfect. Furniture nicely cut, tiled floor, clean white sheets, good TV, big fridge.Lovely shower in this room (108)
Another story with complmentary water - be careful. For three days they tried to convince me that 2 bottles of water in minibar were complimentary , a well known trick who travel a lot like me- untill I invited a manager and showed her a minibar list with those 2 waters included as chargable. After that I was given complimentary water daily for free as it was stated on the site.
Swimming pool - a non cleaned diamond, the most interesting part of the resort, unfortunately people do not have a slightest idea that it should ne cleaned on daily basis - both the bottom and the surface of it. Apart from it filtration system was good.
Eating - normal breakfasts, juces from boxes, too much sugar - stopped taking them, very good rice noodles with chiken and average fried rice.Not very welcome manager.Leaves you a feeling that you constantly owe her something. Not a single smile to anybody of the guests, though I think that apart from it she doing her job perfectly with respect to cooking.Service is poor. Forget napkins, forget milk, forget this and that you need to remind each time or take yourself.
Beach: water was dirty and I had to go to Karon every day to swim.
The last thing which just killed me - they wanted to charge me for the second time when I was leaving the hotel, the reason was "We have not yet received the money from the agency".
Location is great for nitelife.
Over all impression: a treasure without proofessional supervision or manangement, no training for personnel. Not recommened for experienced travellers.
Rooms are very different quality - some showers have very old equipment, some - very good new ones...
