“Rather blissful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

I spent 3 nights at The Bliss with my 15 year old daughter. Directly located across the from the beach we spent the first night on the 4th floor with a lovely view. After the first night I noticed that the air con was leaking water which I reported, they were real quick in getting a repairman out fix it, after 3 hours it still was not fixed so I asked to moved to another room. Unfortunately we had to move to the 3rd floor as there were none available on the fourth, we still had a good view. We were in that room for approx 20minutes when we had to move once again because the toilet started overflowing, so off to another room we went on the 3rd floor we went I was pretty peeved with the inconvenience, and did not get much of an apology for the inconvenience though the bellhop kept apologising profusely. The room was cleaned daily. There are 2 pools at the motel we only used the one in the grounds which was very clean. The hotel is located at the south end of the beach, I found the beach to be rather dirty and preferred to swim in the pool. Great location can walk to everything, Bangla Road, Jung Ceylon, shops, excellent location. Breakfast was included which there was ample of, and free wifi also which actually worked real well. The first night we had single beds which were quite comfortable cause we had to move to another room we could only get a king bed which was uncomfortable and hard. It is a lovely hotel overall, and the restaurant dining is great and great prices yummy food, cocktails for 100B

Room Tip: Book a fourth floor room for the best views.

In the middle of 4 nights here. In pool suite, and worth the extra money. Own pool right overlooking beach - so good after hard days shopping. Large fridge and it's cold!!! Rather quiet at night so you can sleep as it's located south of main "Patong Hub Bub", but still easy to walk to good shopping and fantastic food. Staff have been excellent, and so much fun - some real characters here. Highly recommend were in room 180. Cheers.

I stayed this hotel for 4 days from 7th - 11th October, 2012. To me this hotels is nice. Location is good too, right opposite to the beach. One good thing about this hotel is all the rooms of this hotel is sea view. You can enjoy the sea from your balcony. As the hotel is located towards the south end of the patong beach, the crowd is also less. There is another thing, probably the most important thing, don't go with the photos in the hotel's website. This hotel has two parts - one is newly renovated (termed as 'Superior wing') and other part is the old one (termed as 'Standard wing'). They post the pictures of the superior wing and not the picture of the old one. Though, I must say the condition of the old part is also good. They have provided all sorts of facilities. Those who wants some relaxation and some star facilities, the superior wing is good for them. The standard wing is for those, who visits for roam around and doesn't bother much with the hotel except cleanness. The behavior of the staffs are also nice and they quite helpful. Though, there is a little bit of communication problem, but its manageable. The breakfast is quite nice, have a variety of option with fruits as well. Overall, I am happy with this hotel. I will strongly recommend this hotel to the other travelers.

Room Tip: If you want to choose good room, tell the hotel person to book your room at the new wing, at the tim...

Had a great time... Rented deluxe suite on the fourth floor for seven nights. The rooms were huge bedroom and hall separate. A wonderful jacuzzi in the balcony with a great view. The included breakfasts were very good with fresh eggs and omlettes cooked on request. Breakfast was the same everyday no varieties. Staff are friendly but do not speak much English. You have to place your room service order latest before 22:30 or you get nothing from the hotel. They will help you to order pizza or burgers from the near by shops. I did the booking directly and the lady was really helpful. Good location... over all very good.

Rented 2 deluxe suites on the fourth floor for eight nights. The rooms were huge and one room easily accommodated my three teenage children. The views were great, even while standing in the shower. The included breakfasts were very good with fresh eggs and omlettes cooked on request. The staff were friendly and helpful and efficient with tour bookings. We had drinks and lunch a few times at the bar which overlooks the beach and the staff here were great and prices reasonable. The rooms were immaculately presented and cleaned daily. Full size room safe for laptops etc. Position was the best part. Away from the busy/noisy part of Patong, but close enough to walk to all restaurants and Bangla Road, or a short Tuk Tuk ride.20 meters from the front door to the beach with deck chairs for AUD 3 for all day. Air cons worked well in the humid conditions. 2 clean pools to pick from but the one out the back is more private. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Higher floors have best views and there is a lift. Review is for suites not hotel rooms and there is...

We originally booked accommodation at the Sunwing resort and spa through deals.com.au. What a disaster that was. We spent the next day looking for hotels that could accommodate us and found the Bliss Hotel. True to its name from the minute we arrived to check the rooms out it was bliss! The staff were amazing and the suite rooms incredible both in style, space and value. We are into our second day of our stay with twelve to go and are loving every minute of it.

Room Tip: The best rooms at the hotel are the new suite rooms, I would not consider the others.
