“Location! Service! Price! Value!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2012

June saw us staying at Adonis for the 3rd time in 12 months!.if you want location...cleanliness...value...friendliness..and comfort...then Adonis is the place..we are booked to return to patong in August for 8 days on business and of course that means Adonis again!..free reliable wifi in rooms and lock up drawers and safe mean it s suitable even for business travelers..
May, who manages Adonis in phils absence, is an obliging polite local, well spoken in many languages...the house staff are always pleasant and obliging...located in a super quiet cul de sac, minutes away from jungceylon shopping complex on rathutit 200 rd..2 blocks to the beach...and 50 Mtrs or so from street markets and a fantastic dentist, optometrist and family mart!..what more could you want?...

Room Tip: 2nd or 3 rd floor...but not 303.. That's our room!..lol

It's a brilliant place. At their low season rate we were a little curious what we would get. The room was spacious, VERY clean, well stocked with facilities (tea, coffee and water - free - stocked snack basket and mini-bar in fridge - reasonable prices - safe, soaps and shampoos, great wifi, desk, fan, super A/C). The hosts were very friendly, check in was efficient and fast. And best of all it was in the Paradise complex, yet away from the noise of the main Soi. Even the building works opposite were inaudible from our room. To put it briefly I loved it and will definitely stay again.

Stayed here for a week, which was my 2nd visit in a year. Very good value for money, room cleanliness is 5 star, the location is great for gay nightlife, and the beach is just 10 min walk. Rooms are spacious and there are nice views from the upper floors. On arrival there was problem with the aircon in my room, but this was soon resolved overnight, and was offered an alternative room for the 1st night.
There is a night porter on duty, which is great for security, guaranteeeing no unwelcome knocks on the bedroom door in the middle of the night! Rooms have all you need, with a hot walk-in shower, plenty of power points, mini bar and room snacks, tv, free wifi, comfortable king size bed, air con and a fan, in room safe etc. Rooms are made up everyday if you require, to a high standard, though i found the cleaning lady to be on the grumpy side! The rest of the staff are very friendly. The location is very quiet, within the Paradise Complex, just around the corner from the nearest gay venue, but also 5 min walk to Bangla Road, so need for any taxis once there.
No problem with guests coming back to your room, and id cards are always checked.
The rates are very good value, and compare favourably with other similar properties. One word of warning for the less fit, avoid booking a 4th or 5th floor room if you don't like stairs, as there is no lift!
Overall a great place to stay if you want to be close to the action, but also want a good night's sleep in a quiet clean room at a reasonable price

I made reservation in Adonis Guest House on 2008, that was my first time visit Phuket.
Phil explained how to get to Adonis very well, including taxi's fare, and duration to get there.
Even when our plane delayed, Phil send me text to make sure we're not lost and get the right direction to get there.

The room and the bathroom are clean, and comfort there is a useable pc on the lobby with internet connection. The guest house near to Phuket Paradise, and for accsess the beach, we can use 24hours vancy taxi by reserve to the reception.

The best value to stay in Adonis is, you dont feel like stay in guest house, with all the nice hospitality, it feels like you stay in your old best friend's home. :-D

I'm just back from my sixth, two-week visit to Adonis and even though I always consider alternatives, it manages to combine the perfect mix of quiet location (for a great night's sleep), room facilities, cleanliness (top of my list), CCTV security, walking distance to the nightlife (and beach) and the ability to make everyone (whether a regular visitor or first timer) feel a valued guest. Phil and his manageress Mai never take their eye off the ball and their new low-season offers mean that an additional visit in the next couple of months may be on the cards! Another 5/5 from me.

Room Tip: Every room is spacious and great value. The top floors get great views and are worth the climb!!

We had a quiet and nice stay in Adonis Guest House! Fortunately, we had a room overlooking some gardens and thanks to the locations of the place it was far from the street or clubs noise. Still close to the beach, shopping mall and all the attractions of the city.
I discovered the quiet and nice terrace late enough to feel sad that I didn't enjoy it more... :( The only thing which bothered us a bit ware the mosquitos - a will be great. And the noise of the AC external unit but...

Room Tip: Enjoy the terrace!

The hotel is well situated, close to the action but tucked away. It is well run, problems sorted in minutes, clean, perfectly stocked, tastefully decorated, cleverly designed rooms. everything works (no noisy aircon). Could be closer to the beach (but at that low price what do you expect), and the walk to the beach is interesting and fun. (Bags of peeled watermelon for pennies. What a treat.). I really had a good time and felt I was a valued and considered guest. Also the manager knows EVERYONE. He will sort a diving trip, a bike, a day trip with the best people. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The stairs after a drink or two seemed like Everest. But they do at home too.

Room Tip: I think the top floor rooms are nicer Mine was really excellent.
