I stayed in Rayaburi last November. It is certainly a value for the money that you pay. Very reasonable even during super peak period. The room is clean, the spacious bathroom that has rainshower, the room we took is a deluxe king room hence there is no bad tub. you gotta try the shampoo, shower creme and body lotion. Superb! Smells refreshing. No coffee making facilities, the hotel provides singha drinking water for every day you spend. The staffs are friendly and able to speak in english, a very nice jacuzzi on top floor. laundry is just nearby for every 1kilogram of clothes you just need to pay THB500. You may walk over to Bangla street which is just 5 minutes away. You may also get your favorite tour package just right outside the hotel. Overall this hotel and the location is fantastic.

i stayed at Rayaburi last September - it's a nice place, with decent breakfast. the staff is very friendly. since it's an old hotel, the taxis and locals all know it, so you cannot get lost. the nightlife of soi bangla is a stone's throw away, you can also walk to the beach in 6-7 minutes. it's very good value for money, but since it's old the rooms might feel a bit damp.

Room Tip: Pick the rooms on higher floors. Rooms facing the street are noisy with the bar blasting music throu...

Decent hotel, rooms are nice, bed comfortable, few minutes from Patong beach, day staff is helful, night staff in-different. Not much to write about breakfast. Try restaurant number six (walk towards left and take right from the intersection), good food.

Room Tip: We had a superioir room for which we paid extra. Does not have any view and promised tea/coffee kett...

we went for a 4 day 3 night stay on this hotel and the i would say it was worth its price. the staff were nice but can be improve if they speak fluent english. the breakfast was fine but don't expect much variant. the shower only have a transparent division which let you see the person taking the shower. the hotel was very near to patong beach and quite far from bangla road which is a plus as you will not hear any loud music at night due to from open pubs. will recommend this to friends and will consider this as a good option if you want a relaxing stay at patong.

Room Tip: you can request for a kettle on the reception as it was not provided if you don't request. no fr...

I was stayed with friends at this hotel on 30/11/2012, overall we are very satisfy to the hotel.

The location is prefect which combine both relax and happening environment, It is just a walking distance to the Patong Beach & the crowded area Bangla Road. The hotel is very convenient to stay, the surrounding are different type shops and restaurant.

The room is big and clean, the staffs are helpful and able to provide some value information to the attractive areas and foods. Their buffet breakfast so far not too bad, just the menu for everyday is no much different.

We have a good time here, and hope you will enjoy with staying in this hotel too.

Stayed 1 night in transit. Pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of the room, the cleanliness and modern bathroom fittings, and the close location to the beach and restaurants (all about 5 min walk). Loft wing is separate to the main hotel, as noted by others, but it is only a matter of a 2 minute walk and the room was quiet. We didn’t have a balcony which we had expected, but this didn’t bother us for a short stay. Aircon could be quieter but it was effective. Bed very firm. The (included) breakfast was good, with eggs made to order and good variety. All staff were pleasant and helpful. We felt the security in the Loft Wing should be improved; key or swipe-card access to the foyer area and/or the lifts and stairs would be good. Overall excellent value hotel in a good location. Recommend.
