We stayed 3 nights in a deluxe room, another 2 nights in standard room. Deluxe room is very large, great balcony, looking out to pool. Standard room had a small window/balcony which looked out onto the next building and was where all the air conditioning units are positioned so very noisy. Rooms include a safe, kettle, TV, air con, hair dryer. 2 pools – outdoor one gets very busy, rooftop pool has a great view of Patong. Less than 5 mins walk to Jungceylon, handy to markets and beach. Friendly staff. Check in and out was easy. Quite a busy resort and attracts lots of young travellers who tend to walk along the corridors at all times of night, slam doors and make lots of noise.

Hotel is very centralized.

Near to all the attractions and about 10-15 minutes walk to Patong Beach. Very near to shopping areas. Indeed, when we walked out of the hotel it is already the shopping district. Worth the price, inclusive of WIFI.

Consists of two swimming pool. Outdoor pool and infinity pool. However, infinity pool water is rather dirty which hurts my eyes. Nice view though. The outdoor pool is 1.8m deep.

Overall good for all sort of traveller especially those on holiday with friends and families.

Room Tip: Mine was a superior room. Two single beds. They have a new building which I think has a better view...

I have stayed at this resort three times now and providing you get a room on the pool side of the hotel you will be very happy. The other older part of the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The situation of the hotel is well within walking distance from most of the entertainment in Patong. The shopping centre, Jungcelon, the boxing stadium and the night life, Bangla Road, is all within walking distance. The staff are really friendly even the security guard gave my friend a back rub!!

We stayed at the Amata Resort in Phuket. The staff are awesome and friendly. Central to everything. Markets, the beach and restaurants. Very clean and 2 swimming pools. Anyone looking at Phuket for their next holiday I strongly recommend the Amata Resort.

Overall, I was disappointed with this hotel and the service I received. Long story short, I booked a room using an online site, and made it for March even though it was supposed to be for February (same days and dates, so didn't notice the wrong month). Got to the hotel that same day, as it was a same day booking, and staff could not locate my reservation, which is when we discovered I made the res for March in error. Girl at the time was helpful and rebooked me under a new res in an express room, although I had booked a standard, as that was all the had available. The express room, while very cheap, was gross. Room reeked of mold, "shower" (just a shower head in corner of bathroom) only had cold water, no elevator, so had to carry luggage up 4 flights ourselves, and room itself was just dirty. Ended up paying more to upgrade to a deluxe room, which was in the elevator part and nicer. While room still had a mold smell to it, it was definitely a huge upgrade, as room was cleaner and more updated.

I went to talk to hotel staff about booking mistake, and was basically laughed at and told "too bad, no refund." Now, I understand the room I booked online was nonrefundable; however, I asked the staff to consider that it was not as if I booked it then cancelled or no showed. It was an honest mistake, as I showed up to the hotel expecting a room that night only to discover I made a dumb mistake (thanks time changes and jet lag from traveling earlier that day from the states to Bangkok!). It would have been one thing if they could have even applied my credit toward my new reservation or found some sort of happy medium to solve the problem...even PRETENDED like they cared and tried to fix it before just laughing and saying "ah no refund!" Again, I understand it was my booking mistake, but very disappointed the $100 American dollars from the incorrect booking meant more to them to earning a new customer or recommendations.

Overall, I will say the location was great...very close to Bangla Road, Patong Beach, and shopping. Had complimentary breakfast, and it had various options, all of which tasted good for the most part. Definitely pay the little extra money and book a room in the updated, elevator part of hotel, as "express" rooms are gross. Pool seemed nice, although we never actually used it. All in all, service and staff lacked and will be the reasons I don't use this hotel again in the future or recommend it to others.

We arrived at lunch time and did not book in advance - got a great walk in rate for a nice room which would have been 50% more expensive a week earlier. The room was clean and had all facilities needed, bed was comfortable and despite the fact that the place is located near the night life the room was far enough away from the main street so no problem with any noise - just don't expect a room with any spectacular view. Practically in the middle of shopping and night life and with parking available it was perfect for us. During the day we explored all the various beaches of Phuket by car anyway, so for us no need for a hotel right next to the beach. 2 nice pools, and the rooftop one has a great view over Patong in all directions. Would certainly stay again at the rate we got!

Room Tip: The best value rooms are in the building without elevator, so if you don't mind walking 2 floors...
